He is a respected naturalist, scientist, and teacher who has worked extensively in habitat conservation and land and property management. David has taught at Northeastern University, lectured on strategies for land protection in the U.S. and Asia, and consulted for governmental and conservation agencies. His research has included studies in avian populations and breeding birds of various species. A naturalist of unusual breadth and depth, he has led journeys practically from pole to pole.
