Arena Castelo.Fortaleza cumpre rigorosamente o cronograma de

reforma do estdio local, conhecido como Castelo.

Com as obras, o estdio poder abrigar 67.037

espectadores. A arena cearense ter, portanto,

a capacidade e a tecnologia necessrias para se

credenciar a receber uma partida de semifinal durante

a Copa do Mundo da FIFA Brasil 2014TM. A obra segue

ainda os padres para certificao ambiental LEED,

reconhecida internacionalmente.

Castelo Stadium. Fortaleza is following the schedule set for the refurbishment of its local stadium, commonly known as Castelo. After construction, the stadium will have a capacity for 67,037 fans. The arena from Cear will also have the technology and capability to host a semi-final match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilTM. The project is strictly following and respecting all internationally recognized standards from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification system.

Cear Aquarium. Latin Americas largest high tech oceanarium.

The Cear Aquarium will be the biggest oceanarium in Latin America,

consolidating Fortaleza as a very important international tourism

destination. The new attraction is expected to receive 1.2 million

visitors a year. The goal is to make the oceanarium a tourist magnet

for the State of Cear.

development. With its construction ahead of schedule, the

Cear Convention Center will be the second largest in Latin

America, with capacity to host 18 simultaneous events and

30 thousand delegates. The architectural design was inspired

by the local landscape and handicrafts. The new space is

expected to serve as a support center for the international

press during the 2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilTM.

The Federal Government is leading the expansion of the Pinto Martins International Airport. The project includes the refurbishment of the passenger terminal as well as adaptation of existing access roads to the airport. Outro destaque a coberta da Arena Castelo com tecnologia inovadora que vai oferecer aos torcedores conforto e segurana. A cobertura tem um revestimento termoacstico que vai proporcionar uma sensao trmica mais agradvel por suportar os ndices de insolao do nordeste brasileiro, no absorvendo calor e permitindo a circulao de ar dentro do estdio; e um isolamento acstico, o que melhora o acompanhamento dos jogos pela torcida e a transmisso dos jogos. A estrutura tem ainda uma rea de 6 mil metros quadrados de policarbonato que evita o sombreamento e o contraste nas transmisses televisivas. Alm disso, ter trs restaurantes, mdia center, rea de hospitalidade, lounge e rea VIP.

Fortaleza was officially chosen by FIFA as one of the host cities of the World Cup 2014, and Castelo will host this show. The government of the State of Cear, since the announcement in 2009, was already planning actions to transform the Castelo the best stadium for the competition.

O Cear ganha um novo Centro de Eventos que tem sua arquitetura inspirada nas dunas e falsias do litoral cearense, com rea total de 206 mil m e capacidade para receber 30 mil pessoas com um custo de R$ 467.016.012,03 milhes para o Governo do Estado. O local disponibiliza rea para eventos de grande porte, palestras, feiras, shows, congressos, workshops, exposies, seminrios, entre outros. o maior centro multiuso do Pas, colocando o Cear no calendrio internacional de eventos. Para melhorar o fluxo de veculos na Avenida Washington Soares (at 50 mil veculos por dia) o governo construiu quatro trincheiras (espcie de tneis subterrneos sendo que uma delas dupla).

The place provides area for large events, lectures, fairs, concerts, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, seminars, among others. It is the largest multipurpose center in the country, putting the Cear in the international calendar of events. To improve traffic flow on Washington Soares Avenue (up to 50,000 vehicles per day) the government built four trenches (sort of underground tunnels, and which one of them is double).

Ter tambm salas de exposio e reas especiais para crianas e uma praa das guas. Com o Acqurio, o estado do Cear ganha um equipamento referncia de destino qualificado no Brasil e no Mundo, que deve ficar pronto em 2014.

O Aeroporto Internacional Pinto Martins passa por reforma desde julho de 2011, para aumentar a capacidade de atendimentos anuais de 6,2 milhes de passageiros para 14,2 milhes em 2018, trmino da obra. desta forma, o Aeroporto ter envergadura para atender 9 milhes de passageiros/ano. Est prevista ainda a ampliao do nmero de vagas no estacionamento, o que dever aumentar a capacidade dos atuais 880 para 1.340 vagas. A Infraero dever investir cerca de R$ 279,5 milhes no projeto e visa atender a crescente demanda da capital cearense e a expectativa de visitantes na Copa do Mundo de 2014.

O litoral leste conta com um novo aeroporto que vai alavancar o turismo da regio, tornando-a um polo de atrao independente de Fortaleza. o Aeroporto Regional Drago do Mar em Aracati, polo de Canoa Quebrada foi inaugurado em agosto de 2012.

Localizado s margens da CE 040 e vizinho a praia de Canoa Quebrada, o equipamento capaz de receber avies de grande porte, que normalmente operam em voos internacionais, como por exemplo, a famlia Boeing 737.

Com recursos do Ministrio do Turismo e Tesouro do Estado, o equipamento demandou investimentos de R$ 23.662.635,95 e j tem a pista de pouso, rea de taxiamento e hangares .

A pista de pouso foi ampliada em 600 metros, passando a 1,8 mil metros por 30 metros de largura, mais 400 metros de rea de escape, totalizando 2.200m de comprimento, pode operar 1.200 movimentos por ano. O ptio de estacionamento de aeronaves ter 152 metros por 90 metros.

O Programa de Transporte Urbano de Fortaleza - Transfor - est sendo implantado em vrios corredores da capital, incluindo Avenida Bezerra de Meneses, 13 de Maio, Via Expressa. A Via Expressa conta com 4 tneis que sero entregues at agosto de 2013. Os tneis sero construidos nos cruzamentos da Avenidas Padre Antonio Toms, santos dumont e Alberto s e na extenso da prpria Via Expressa, passando sob a linha ferra, onde ir passar o veiculo leve sob trilhos - VLT.

O Novo Terminal Martimo de Passageiros do Porto de Fortaleza atender os turistas que forem acompanhar os jogos da Copa do Mundo da FIFA Brasil 2014 na capital cearense. O empreendimento contempla um novo cais de atracao com 350 metros de extenso e 13 metros de profundidade; uma moderna estao de passageiros com espao para check-in e check-out, lojas de convenincia, espao para bagagens, restaurantes e rgos intervenientes com rea de 9.600 m; estacionamento para nibus e automveis, alm de um ptio de armazenagem de cargas limpas com rea de 40.600 m.

Paulo Andr destaca que o Novo Terminal Martimo de Passageiros do Porto de Fortaleza uma obra da Secretaria de Portos da Presidncia da Repblica (sEP/PR), orada em R$ 149 milhes, oriundos do PAC Copa do Mundo. A obra iniciou no dia 2 de maro de 2012, logo aps a Assinatura da Ordem de servio pelo Ministro dos Portos, Lenidas Cristino.

A Prefeitura de Fortaleza, atravs da secretaria de Turismo est ampliando o espao da Beira Mar. As obras que tiveram inicio em agosto de 2012, pretendem melhorar o conforto dos usurios, reestruturar as vias de trafgo de veiculo, o estacionamento e requalificar a feira de artesanatos e o marcado de peixes. A obra prev tambm a engorda da faixa de praia, da Rui Barbosa at a Avenida Desembargador Moreira, num aterro de 80 metros de largura. O edital de licitao deve ser lanado neste ms. A concluso de tudo est prevista para incio de 2014. A interveno alcana 39.38 hectares.

As obras da Avenida Beira-Mar e litoral leste tm, na lista de afazeres, a recuperao da faixa de praia (R$ 59,1 milhes), a reurbanizao da orla (R$ 72,9 milhes), a construo da via frrea para um bondinho que parte do Mercado dos Peixes e vai at o espigo da Avenida Rui Barbosa (R$ 15,5 milhes) e a requalificao viria do litoral leste (R$ 84,3 milhes).

Ao todo, sero R$ 231,9 milhes, a serem aplicados pela construtora vencedora da licitao. As obras comearo em agosto deste ano e o prazo estimado para a concluso fica entre 24 e 27 meses. As obras tero incio no Mercado dos Peixes, onde existe previso de oito meses de interveno na rea.
