the storyThe concept for our business started life on a Saturday night in a friends home. They were

having problems with a noisy neighbour. The emotion and stress was evident and it started a

conversation that grew into a solution. That solution is now called iKoustic.

From our early days in 2010, we knew that the philosophy and values that motivated us as people were as keyas the products and services we would supply. Acoustic Easy Fit Mineral Wool Slab 100mm

This acoustic grade rock mineral wool slab absorbs airborne

sound in the cavity partitions of timber and metal party walls,

significantly improving acoustic performance and reducing

reverberation.

A flexible acoustic grade mineral wool, Acoustic Easy Fit

Mineral Wool Slab is supplied in packs of easy to handle

1200mm x 600mm slabs, in a variety of thicknesses.

It can be installed in the cavity spaces of walls, floors and

ceilings. An efficient noise absorber which easily outperforms

standard mineral wool insulation because it is more thantwice the density!

It can also be used between flooring joists and in ceilings as a

sound absorbing infill to reduce airborne noise. It is supplied

un-faced.

Acoustic Sealant is a high strength, permanentlyflexible white acoustic sealant and adhesivespecifically formulated for sealing and bondingplasterboard.

It is ideal for sealing the edges of plasterboard systems and fillingand sealing any holes where services have been installed, therebypreventing the leakage of noise.

It is paintable once cured and is manufactured to a professional

trade quality.This non-flammable sealant is water based, solvent free, is easy touse and clean up and adheres well to just about all substrates usedin the building and construction industry.

It works equally well on acoustic insulation boards and can besuccessfully used on walls, ceiling and dry lining applications. Useit to fill large gaps in existing timber floorboards or spaces betweenfloor decking before overlaying with acoustic materials.

It is particularly recommended for sealing the perimeters and edgesof floating floors before applying additional soundproofing materialsin order to further enhance acoustic performance
