My name is Daniel Portuga. I was born in 1980, in São Paulo, Brazil. My heart is Brazilian, my blood is Portuguese. I have been working in Adver;sing, Design and Digital since 1998 across Brazil, UK, Singapore and more than 13 countries across the globe, including Europe, Asia Pacific and US. I graduated with a BA in Adver;sing and Marke;ng and have a post-‐grad degree in Design Management from the “Faculdade de Belas Artes”. I'm currently living in São Paulo, but totally open and excited to explore any another countries and cultures. I really love it, to make smiles everywhere. !While in Singapore, I had the opportunity to work in SapientNitro as APAC Design Manager, Crea;ve. In London, I worked at SapientNitro, Rapp, Profero, Saint@RKCR Y&R and Bio Agency. In Brazil, I have worked as an Associate Crea;ve Director at Rapp Digital. My principal roles in these companies are 360 crea;ve thinking and strategy with focus on Digital, bringing ideas to life, art direc;on, UX, proac;ve solu;ons, business development (pitches), project & team management, integra;on with another areas, people growth, and, most importantly, making the work journey more fun, simple, healthy for everyone and making the consumers happy with a smooth life. !During my career I have had the opportunity to work with almost 90 clients, such as Accor, Avon, Boomerang TV, Cartoon Network, Coke, Fiat, HSBC, Itaú, Lloyd's, McDonald’s, McLaren, MetLife, Moët, NatWest, Nestlé, Nokia, Petrobras, Philips, Sky, Samsung, SingTel, Standard Chartered, Skype, Unilever, VW, etc. !I have won some awards including Webby, Cannes, FWA, Adobe Edge, BIMA, LIA, M&M, Gramado, ABEMD, La;n Web Awards, Taxi and American Design Awards, etc. !I have also given a workshop at the Pixel Show, one of the largest design events in Brazil and had my work exhibited in the gallery of modern art in Slovakia. Over 50 ar;cles and interviews in magazines, books, websites and blogs around the world. !Let's SMILE together! :)
