Panorama do Comércio Internacional de Serviços Comentários

• Na publicação deste ano, a Secretaria de Comércio e Serviços (SCS), com o apoio do Banco Central do Brasil (BACEN), conseguiu apurar pela primeira vez o comércio exterior de serviços brasileiro por porte de empresa.

• Por meio deste levantamento foi possível identificar que a maioria das empresas que participam do comércio exterior de serviços são microempresas e empresas de pequeno porte (MPEs).

• Também foi possível apurar que as MPEs brasileiras são superavitárias no comércio internacional de serviços, a despeito do histórico déficit das transações de serviços do Balanço de Pagamentos.

• As MPEs representaram 77,7% de um total de 30.499 empresas exportadoras de serviços. Também foram responsáveis por 11,4% das receitas da Conta de Serviços do Balanço de Pagamentos.

• As pessoas jurídicas importadoras representaram um total de 21.874, das quais 56,1% são referentes a MPEs.

• Naquele ano, o número de pessoas físicas exportadoras de serviços foi de 64.240 e o de importadoras 16.017.

• De 2008 para 2009, as exportações brasileiras de serviços tiveram uma redução de 8,8%. Este decréscimo foi menos acentuado que o mundial, de 12,9%. Em anos anteriores as exportações brasileiras de serviços vinham crescendo a taxas significativamente superiores às exportações mundiais de serviços, como evidenciam os números a seguir (taxas referentes ao mundo entre parênteses): em 2005, 27,8% (11,8%); em 2006, 20,9% (13,2%); em 2007, 25,9% (19,3%); e em 2008, 27,4% (11,3%).

• Em 2009, a redução das importações foi de apenas 0,7% em relação ao ano anterior. Enquanto as importações mundiais diminuíram em 11,9%.
