The bean should start to grow roots after a few days. This is called germination.

Gabe and Amelia found a baby bird on the ground. The bird did not have full feathers. The bird

lurched toward Gabe and Amelia.

Early morning is usually a quiet time at our ranch. Today was different. The sheep herd was

gone when the other ranchers and I arrived at their pen. The sheep had escaped during the

sheep from the coyote, we had to work together.

Some sheep were still nearby. Other sheep strayed but we did not know how far. We split

up to look for the stray sheep. We were relieved when we found them all safe.
