c) Installation.

1- Drill the wall using the Pneutronic´s back plate. 2- Replace the PNEUTRONIC in the support using

the four screws that were previously released.

3- Before placing the incoming hose, let the air flow for some seconds so as to remove all dirt and humidity.

4- Install the incoming and out flowing hoses. Both

hoses are attached by using two clamps.

5- THE INCOMING PRESSURE OF THE EQUIPMENT SHOULD NOT EXCEED 175 PSI (12 Bar). IF NECESSARY, USE A PRESSURE REGULATOR.

6- Plug Pneutronic to power supply. Make sure the power supply is compatible.

d) Functioning.

1- Choose the desired pressure value using the buttons and ;

2- Connect the nozzle to the tire ; 3- Wait for the “beep” ; 4- Push button for flat tire; 5- Remove the nozzle from the tire that has been calibrated and repeat the process with any other tires to be calibrated. If you wish to calibrate the same pressure value in every case, it is needed to connect the nozzle to the tire and wait for the beep when the process is ended.

e) Maintenance.

To ensure perfect performance of PNEUTRONIC, as well as its life span it is necessary to adopt some measures. 1 - Never allow the incoming pressure of the equipment to exceed 175 PSI (12 Bar). 2 - The nozzle of PNEUTRONIC must be changed every time those losses are recorded. NEVER PLACE A NOZZLE “CLOSE-END” IN THE PNEUTRONIC BECAUSE SUCH A NOZZLE PREVENTS THE EQUIPMENT FROM FUNCTIONING. 3 - It is necessary to keep the air line free from dirt so as to avoid the clogging of the filter. 4 - It is necessary to perform a regular cleaning of the front panel of the PNEUTRONIC using soap and water.

f) Troubleshooting.

If the PNEUTRONIC does not reach the desired pressure, and gives a higher or a lower value instead - it is necessary to verify if there is any leak in the hose, in the connections or in the nozzle;

If the calibration takes a long time - it is necessary to clean the air line or the filter of the PNEUTRONIC;

If the PNEUTRONIC does not perform the calibration - it is necessary to replace

the nozzle of the hose just in case it is improperly connected, or to change it if it has any problem, or to push the “FLAT TIRE” button, if the tire is empty;

If the beep sounds when there is no tire connected to the hose - it is necessary to

verify if the nozzle of the hose is not clogged or change it for an “open-end” one; If it seems that PNEUTRONIC is functioning by itself - without stopping, please

verify if the nozzle of the hose is not clogged or to change it with an “open-end” one; In case of doubt, or if your PNEUTRONIC needs to be repaired, please get in touch

with the Technical Assistance Department of your Dealer.

g) Accessories. The accessories of the PNEUTRONIC that are available are the following: • European hose nozzle open-end; • Pedestal to be used when the equipment can not be affixed to a wall; incorporates a metallic hood to protect the equipment from the effects of the weather.

10. Advanced Parameterization of the equipment.

- Flat Mode If activated, shows the message “Flat” on display when the pressure on the tire is lower than a limit (set on the software) indicating a bad tire. - Over pressure If activated, increases the period for the first charge of the process. It is useful for calibrating brand new tires. - Ball Mode If activated, decreases the period for the charge process. It is useful for calibrating balls. - Deft (Default restoration) If activated, the equipment returns to the default pressure value 40 seconds after last use. - AV Mode If activated, allows the use of sensor for high pressure and increases the period for the charge process. It is useful for calibrating airplane tires. - Coin Mechanism Type Set the type of the coin mechanism, electronic or mechanic. - Counter Type Detailed in the first pages of this manual. - Counter Reset If activated, reset the counter

11. Basic characteristics of Pneutronic Software When the equipment is turned on, the default pressure configured (for example,

“26” PSI) is shown. The keys “+” and “-“ are used to increase or decrease the value of the pressure

shown on the display (chosen value). As the value on the display is increased or decreased a “beep” sound is heard. It can be noticed that the values shown on the display change more quickly (to make the selection quicker) after the value has been increased or decreased three consecutive times.

When the “FLAT TIRE” key is pressed alone it starts the calibration process in a

flat tire. CHARGE is activated eight times, with a short interval at each time. The equipment reads the amount of pressure each time the CHARGE is activated and if it detects a pressure that is higher than the minimum (“0,2” Bar) it will shift to an automatic calibration process.

This “FLAT TIRE” process can be aborted by pressing again the “FLAT TIRE” key, only before it starts the automatic calibration process. When the “i” key and the “-“ key are pressed in sequence the message “Cnt” shall

appear for a moment on the display followed by a number between 0 and 1999 indicating the number of calibrations performed by the equipment.

When the conversion key (“i”) is pressed the message “PSI” (or “BAR”, unit to be

converted ) appears for a moment on the display, and then it shows the converted value.

20. ERROR MESSAGES TABLE Er1 – Board Problems, contact Distributor/Factory for technical support. Not user serviceable. Er2 – Valve Problems, check the diaphragm of the valve.

Er3 – Verify that the incoming pressure (compressor) is below the level necessary to obtain the desired calibration. It is also necessary to verify if the air tap is closed.

Er4 – Calibrate and make the basic parameterization of the equipment.

Er7/Chuck - It is necessary to verify if the nozzle of the hose is not clogged or to change it for an “open-end” one; It also appears if the nozzle keeps connected to the tire more than 15 seconds.
