2. Súmula: Estudo panorâmico da literatura Inglesa, dos primórdios até o início do século XIX. 3. Objetivo Geral: Estimular o interesse do aluno pela literatura inglesa e sua reflexão a respeito desta literatura. Incentivar sua percepção das influências sobre a produção de outras literaturas de língua inglesa, assim como suas ligações com outras formas artísticas e culturais. 4. Objetivos Específicos: 1. Ler e compreender obras da literatura em língua inglesa, percebendo modificações nas manifestações literárias inglesas ocorridas ao longo do tempo.
2. Perceber o contexto em que as obras literárias foram produzidas, estabelecendo relações entre a História e as Representações Estéticas produzidas pelos artistas inseridos naquela cultura em formação.
