SL 525 and SL 523 –The ‘All-in-One’ Motorized Combination Locks.

SL 525 or SL 523 –Features.

Secure and Reliablein all Sectors.

‘All-in-One’.

The electronic safe locksSL 525 and SL 523 have beendeveloped on the basis of the

‘All-in-One’ concept. This means that they alreadyintegrate a range of functionsthat would normally requireaccessories and extensions.State-of-the-art HLI microelec-tronics allow a range of func-tions that are unparalleled.Motorised Bolt Lock, Delay andTime Lock, Audit Trail with timeand date stamp, Multi-StageCode Hierarchy, Alarm SignalConnection, easy programmingvia LCD Screen or OptionalSoftware. These are some of thefunctions included in this ’All-in-One’ package.

A safe lock for allspecifications.

The SL 525 and the SL 523 aredesigned particularly for appli-cations in the moderate to highsecurity sector. This particularlyrelates to the Financial and theRetail Industries or whereverelse time lock functions, organi-sational flexibility and an im-proved level of monitoring andtraceability are required. Thestandard footprint allows thelock to replace traditional me-chanical safe locks, and/or timelocks. With diverse functionsand the computer-programma-ble inputs and outputs, thisallows each installed system to

be programmed to your exactspecification. This unique flex-ibility, in combination with ex-tremely easy installation andself-explanatory operation, means that the range of applica-tions is virtually unlimited.

Application :Fast-food restaurants.

‘We have to do everything reallyfast. Customers don’t want tohang around and that’s why theycome to us. I haven’t got time to

bother about complicated tech-nology. Enter the code, the safeopens, put the takings in thesafe, close the door and the safeis closed. It’s as simple as that. And, in the case of irregularities,no one is suspected without

justification. Everyone has his orher own code. The boss alwaysknows who has done what withthe safe and when. If my shift isover, I can’t open the safe’.

Application : Jewellers’ shops.

‘My vocation is making specificcustomer wishes come true.Discretion and reliability arevery important. For me, it isimportant that my securityfacilities are reliable and areeasy to operate. It would beunimaginable if I could not openthe lock on my safe in themorning….Besides the elegant design of

the keypad, one other importantaspect for me, of course, ispersonal security : I can call forhelp at any time, automaticallyswitch on the surveillancecamera and block the safe for ashort or longer period with aspecial code’.

Application :CIT (Cash-In-Transit).

‘We work in a quite specialbusiness area. Everythingfocuses on security, reliabilityand good planning. Fast re-sponse to customer require-ments is possible only if the

infrastructure used, e.g. thelocking system used in ATMs,also allows this. Our cashtransport operatives are grantedimmediate access with their

code without having to wait.Optionally, immediate accesscan be granted, e.g. if the ATMis empty’.

Application :The banking sector.

‘As the Security Officer of amajor bank with several hundredbranches, I want to rely only onsafe locks which are certifiedby independent security institu-tions. We can’t afford weak linksin the security chain. Of course, quality, reliability, procurement

costs and maintenance costsalso play a role which shouldnot be underestimated’.

Convenient operation.

Whilst the installer will benefit, from the easy and fast installa-tion, security officers or opera-tors consider other attributes tobe important : security, reliability, and approval by Internationalcertification bodies. The easy-read liquid-crystal display (LCD)is a major advantage, providingself-explanatory operations invarious languages. Users areprompted by self-explanatoryfunction symbols through theclearly structured menu. Therelevant code holder has accessonly to the functions enabled forhis or her authorisation level.Operation is very simple usingthe keypad or the optionalWindows® -based software.
