THE BRAZILIAN TROPICAL VIOLINS Quem somos : O “The Brazilian Tropical Violins” é um grupo de talentosos jovens estudantes de violino do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, com idades entre 5 e 17 anos. O Grupo originou-se de dois outros grupos, “Os Pequenos Mozart” e “Amadeus”, ambos dirigidos pela professora de violino Suray Soren. Suray Soren é também violinista da Orquestra Sinfônica do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro e dirigiu durante 24 anos o Instituto Casa de Cultura Rio, onde foi pioneira no ensino de violino através do Método Suzuki. Adaptou o método japonês à realidade brasileira e aproveitando a riqueza da música brasileira, criou o “Método Suzuki Tropical” de ensino de violino. Em 2001, o grupo foi convidado pelo prestigiado maestro Yeruham Scharovsky, Diretor Artístico da Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira, para participar de uma série de concertos intitulada “De Bach a Mozart”. A partir deste evento o grupo tem se apresentado em vários concertos nos mais importantes Teatros, Igrejas, Museus e Festivais de Música do Rio de Janeiro. Foram convidados a tocar em um show com a violinista Vanessa Mae, que é considerada uma “classic-pop star”, para uma platéia de mais de cinco mil pessoas. THE BRAZILIAN TROPICAL VIOLINS Über uns: Die “Brazilian Tropical Violins” sind eine Gruppe begabter junger Geigen-Schüler aus Rio de Janeiro, Brasilien, im Alter zwischen 5 und 17 Jahren. Die Gruppe ist aus zwei anderen Gruppen entstanden: „Die kleinen Mozarts“ und „Amadeus“; beide stehen unter der Leitung der Musikpädagogin Suray Soren. Suray Soren spielt im Symphonie-Orchester des Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro und hat 24 Jahre lang das Instituto Casa de Cultura Rio geleitet, in dem sie den Geigenunterricht nach der Suzuki-Methode eingeführt hat. Die japanische Methode passte sie den brasilianischen Gegebenheiten an. Indem sie den Reichtum der brasilianischen Musik mit einbezog, entstand die „Suzuki Tropical Methode“. Im Jahre 2001 wurde die Gruppe von dem rennomierten Direktor für den künstlerischen Bereich des Brasilianischen Symphonie- Orchesters, Dirigent Yeruham Scharovsky, eingeladen, an einer Reihe von Konzerten unter dem Namen „Von Bach bis Mozart“ teilzunehmen. Seitdem ist die Gruppe bei verschiedenen Konzerten in den bekanntesten Theatern, Kirchen, Museen und Musikwochen von Rio de Janeiro aufgetreten. Bei einer Show der Geigerin Vanessa Mae, die als eine Art „Classic-pop star bekannt ist, spielte die Gruppe vor einem Publikum von mehr als fünftausend Personen. They were invited to play in a show with the “classic-pop” violinist star Vanessa Mae for an audience of more than five thousand people.

O “The Brazilian Tropical Violins” é um grupo de

talentosos jovens estudantes de violino do Rio de

Gravaram um concerto ao vivo na Igreja da

Candelária no Rio de Janeiro e lançaram seu

primeiro CD.

Em 2008 e 2009, apresentaram-se no Chile com

um repertório predominante de compositores

Brasileiros.

Em 2010 participaram de um concerto inédito

com 500 violinistas tocando juntos sob a direção

de Suray Soren no Theatro Municipal do Rio de

Janeiro, que foi chamado de “Concerto dos 500” e

recebeu uma grande aclamação do público e da

crítica especializada em música.

Em 2014 o grupo The Brazilian Tropical Violins

fez uma turnê de duas semanas na

Alemanha(cidades de Karlsruhe e Speyer) e na

capital da Áustria, Viena com um grande público.

O concerto da cidade de Speyer foi promovido

pela Prefeitura da cidade e foi totalmente

transmitido pelo Canal de TV local, o Offener

Kanal Speyer.

originais dos grandes mestres da música;

Enfatizamos que a música de câmara tem um papel

fundamental na educação musical dos jovens ao

apresentá-los a um repertório expressivo e ao

oferecer a oportunidade do trabalho em equipe;

Nós valorizamos e promovemos a música Brasileira

clássica, folclórica e popular;

Nós incluimos em nossos concertos um repertório

diversificado de estilos e arranjos de talentosos

músicos brasileiros como Oswaldo de Carvalho,

Luiz Fernando Zamith and Ricardo Medeiros.

Bei einem Life-Konzert in der Candelária-Kirche

in Rio de Janeiro wurde die erste CD

aufgenommen.

In den Jahren 2008 und 2009 stellte sich die

Gruppe mit einem Programm brasilianischer

Komponisten in Chile vor.

2010 spielte sie zusammen mit 500 Violinisten

unter der Leitung von Suray Soren im Theatro

Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. Dieses Konzert hatte

den Namen „Konzert der 500“ und fand grossen

Anklang bei dem Publikum und den

Musikkritikern.

2014 machten The Brazilian Tropical Violins

eine zwei-wöchige Turnée nach Deutschland

(Karlsruhe und Speyer) und Wien, der Hauptstadt

von Österreich und ernteten grossen

Publikumserfolg. Das Konzert in Speyer stand

unter dem Patronat der Stadt und wurde über den

dortigen Fernsehsender „Offener Kanal Speyer“

übertragen.

Unsere Mission:

Wir legen Wert darauf, Kompositionen der grossen

Meister der Musik im Original zu spielen;

Wir sind überzeugt davon, dass die Kammermusik

grundlegende Bedeutung für die musikalische

Erziehung der jungen Menschen hat, indem man sie

mit einem breit angelegten Repertoire in Kontakt

bringt und ihnen die Gelegenheit gibt, im Team zu

arbeiten;

Wir schätzen und spielen brasilianische klassische,

volkstümliche und pop-Musik;

Wir bringen in unseren Konzerten ein Programm mit

vielfältigen Stilen und Bearbeitungen von

talentierten brasilianischen Musikern wie Oswaldo

de Carvalho, Luiz Fernando Zamith und Ricardo

Medeiros.

They recorded a live concert at Igreja da

Candelária (Candelária Church) in Rio de Janeiro

and launched their first CD.

In 2008 and 2009, the group performed in Chile

with a representative repertoire of Brazilian

composers.

In 2010 they performed in an unprecedented

concert with 500 violinists playing together under

the direction of Suray Soren at the Municipal

Theatre of Rio de Janeiro, which was named

“Concerto dos 500” and received great

acclamation and support from music critics.

In 2014 The Brazilian Tropical Violins Group

spent two weeks in a Concert Tour in

Germany(Karlsruhe and Speyer) and

Austria(Viena) with a large audience. The concert

in Speyer which was hosted by the City Hall was

entirely broadcasted by a TV Channel, the

Offener Kanal Speyer.

Our Mission :

We are strongly committed to play the original

compositions of the great masters of music;

We emphasize that chamber music is a fundamental

part of music education for young people,

introducing them to a meaningful repertoire and also

giving the opportunity of working together as a

group;

We value and promote classical, traditional and

popular Brazilian music;

We include in our concerts repertoire with

diversified music styles and arrangements by

talented Brazilian musicians like Oswaldo de

Carvalho, Luiz Fernando Zamith and Ricardo

Medeiros.
