Começamos, também, nosso projeto “Poems” - Poemas. Apresentamos o gênero literário “poemas” para que as crianças possam enriquecer o repertório linguístico na segunda língua, o Inglês, por meio de textos que emocionam e carregam mensagens cheias de sentimentos como amor, tristeza e alegria. A partir do contato com os poemas, as crianças poderão aprender novas referências de comunicação oral e escrita.

Task 1 – Cooking timeWhat: Math, Language ArtsHow: Tell sts today they’ll make the recipe by themselves. Divide them in three groups, each one with a responsibility during the cooking time (ingredients, mix/blend and take pictures). Take them to the kitchen and let them get the necessary ingredients and kitchenware for the recipe. Let them make the whole process.Cognitive Function: understanding and analyzing. Sts have to read the recipe, comprehend the measurements of the ingredients and the method, and identify the kitchenware. Language: Recipe vocabulary

Ingredients: · 3 eggs· ½ cup of oil· 1 cup of honey· 2 chopped carrots· 2 cups of wholemeal flour· ½ tablespoon of baking powder· ½ teaspoon of ginger powder

Cooking ClassTopping: · 180g of semi-sweet chocolate· 4 tablespoons of honey· 4 tablespoons of milk Method: Cupcake: Put the eggs, the honey, the carrots and the oil in a blender and whizz until smooth. Mix the flour, the baking powder and the ginger in a bowl. Add the blended ingredients and mix. Bake for 30 minutes.Topping: melt the chocolate in the microwave then mix the ingredients in a bowl.
