Abstract

You could either submit an extended abstract of 24 pages or a paper of 410 pages including figuresand references. When preparing your extended abstract/paper, please use this template, including all ofthe predefined styles and headings.

Title of paper is Times 18 point, bold, left oriented.The author name(s) are left oriented below the title, Times 11 point, bold, with family name incapitals.The professional affiliation, mailing addresses and e-mailing addresses for each author is Times 10point, italics.

The paper must include an abstract, which should be no more than 200 words. The abstract shoulddescribe the objectives, methods/materials, results and conclusions. The abstract heading is Times 11point, bold. Text of abstract is Times 11 point.

Before we can process the manuscript for production of the proceedings we need a signed CopyrightTransfer form. Please fill in and sign the form (sent out to authors and announced on the conferencewebsite) and send by post or fax to the secretariat at WASCON 2012 Conference secretariat,Swedish Geotechnical Institute (SGI), SE-581 93 LINKPING, SWEDEN.

Submit your extended abstract/paper as two files one Word file and one pdf file.

Papers submission deadline is 29 February 2012. Papers/extended abstracts received after 29 Februarywill not be included in the proceedings.

This instruction showed how to write a WASCON 2012 paper. It was very clear and answered all questions. The figures and tables implicate nice weather and an interesting programme. It is recommended that you register and book your hotel room early. We look forward to seeing you in Gothenburg.
