A solubilidade do dispersante no solvente é essencial para estabilizar o concentrado e a tinta.
2. Qual tipo de partícula você está tentanto dispersar?
O dispersante necessita se ligar fortemente no pigmento ou carga, e diferentes pigmentos tem
químicas de superfície diferentes.
3. Qual é o sistema de resinas?
O dispersante precisa de boa compatibilidade com as resinas à medida que o solvente evapora
durante a cura e caso hajam resinas na moagem a escolha também será afetada.
4. Qual é a aplicação final?
Deve-se escolher o nível apropriado de performance. Por exemplo, tintas decorativas não necessitam
de um alto nível de performance como as tintas automotivas.
