    Cleanest Town Competition

    John McKenna

The Dustbin-Art installation came about in 2012 as part of the town s 250-year celebrations. Featuring 120 bins, it runs down one side of Church Street from Gay’s Dairy to the Thusong Centre and up the other side. Great exercise, clean, fresh air and you will certainly know more about the town’s history than you did before starting out.

  • Die Rooikamp: Geskiedenis van ’n vergete buurt. Gabled houses, the builders and those who dwelt in them. The 1891 Goldrush. Outa Lappies, Jan Schoeman. The natural history of the Robert Gordon koppie. (with a species list).
