ObjectivesandbackgroundThe most relevant objectives consist of the consolidation, the discussion and promotion ofadvancedresearchprojectsaboutthedevelopmentofSocialResponsibilityoftheOrganizationsfromaneconomic, environmental and social perspectivefor the purposeofcontributing tothegenerationofguidelinesforactionandalsosustainabilityelements,inallkindsoforganizations.The first edition was held in2010 at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH). Then, itcontinuedwiththepublicationofthebookbearingthesamenameofthesymposiumwhichwaspresentedattheInternationalCongressofEconomicsandManagement(ECON)UniversidaddeBuenosAires(UBA),onNovember2011andbringstogether31worksfromArgentina,Brazil,Chile,Colombia,Mexico,PeruandUruguay.Thisbookincludesasampleoftheresearchinthefieldin

ourcontinentandconsolidatestheworkinnetofSIRSO.Weshallbeapre-eventforthe Rio+20UnitedNationsConferenceonSustainableDevelopmenten2012.

Another aim is the publication of a new book, which will include a selection of the PaperspresentedinthisSIRSOssecondedition.4. Public

6. PAPERPRESENTATION

ThepaperspresentedintheIISIRSO(andwhichwillbeincludedaschaptersinthebooktobepublishedonSocialResponsibilityoftheOrganizations),shouldbepreviouslybeaccepted. Itsacceptancewillbeintwophases.Inthefirstphase,shouldbepresentedanABSTRACT,withthefeatureslistedahead.Inthesecondphase,oncetheABSTRACThasbeenaccepted,eachauthor should writeand submit the actual finalPaper. That paperwill besubmitted totheassessmentofthejuries.6.1ABSTRACTS

Unlike the rest of the CNEG, the II SIRSO symposium requires the prior sending of an

ABSTRACTofeachofthepapersthataretobepresented.The ABSTRACT must clearly convey the content of the FINAL PAPER and must provide an

accurateideaofitssubjectmatteranditsacademicquality.Itshouldhaveatmaximum 500wordsandmustinclude,atleast,thefollowing:themeorproblem,objectives,methodology,resultsandconclusions.Itshouldalsocontain4keywords.Theabstractmustfulfilltheformalrequirements detailed in section 7 (with the sole exception of the size for the finalPAPERSwhichisestablishedthere).

SubmittedABSTRACTSwillbereviewedbytheCoordinatorsofSIRSO.AuthorswillbeinformedofacceptanceornotacceptancewithinamaximumofsevendaysfromthedateofreceptionoftheABSTRACTbythecoordinatorsoftheSYMPOSIUM.

ThedeadlineforsubmittingabstractsisMarch12,2012.Theabstractsubmissionstagedoesnotneedtopayregistrationfee.SuchsubmissionmustbemadethroughtheCongresswebsiteandfollowtheprocedureestablishedthereinfortheremissionofthearticles. Asacomplement,thedocumentwillbee-mailedtothefollowingaddress:[email protected]

TheIISIRSOisalreadyreceivingABSTRACTS

6.2PAPERSUMBMISSIONS

Once the ABSTRACTS have been approvedand communicated, its authors may send the finalversionofthepaperforconsiderationbytheScientificCommitteeoftheSymposium.

Submitted PAPERS will be double-blind peer reviewed by two members of the ScientificCommittee of the Symposium. This Committee shall becomposedofacademics from variousuniversitiesinLatinAmerica. ItsstructurewillbecompletedbyearlyMarchandimmediatelywillbereleasedpublicly.AllthePAPERSapprovedbytheScientificCommitteeshallbeautomaticallyincludedinthebook.Thus,thebookwillbearefereedpublication.

ThedeadlinefortheremissionoftheworkwillbeonApril9.
