Geothermal ProjectThrough a heat exchanger (water/water), we take the temperature of the thermal water to heat the public water and vice versa.

This water is then conducted to both bathhouses for its use in the treatments (the termal water) and also for sanitary use and to heat the spaces (the public water).

This geothermal process, that is environmentally friendly, is also used for 2 (two) hotels in the surroundig area (for the baths, for sanitary uses and for the space heating).

Termas de S. Pedro do Sul, in partnership with the Faculty of Pharmacy of Porto, studied the

cutaneous effects of the thermal water, which showed to have an

anti-irritating and soothing effect, leaving the skin smooth and

moisturized
