Little bit of history

SRUNAL CZ is the largest string instruments manuacturing acility in Europe with

long-time tradition. It is located in the picturesque town Luby, ormerly Schnbach,

in the western part o the Czech Republic. Te actory continues the rich traditions o music

instruments production in this region, established by master crafsmen since second hal

o the sixteenth century. Initially these master crafsmen started making violins in t heir

homes. Later several o them ound effective to get together and orm small manuacturing

groups making violins, bows, lutes, guitars and other string instruments.

By 1908 the Luby school o violin making was established, who e

several generations o great violin makers. Te current top techn

our engineers and the best resonance woods ensures that the ins

rom Strunal will have superb acoustic eatures with traditional

design and quality. Our instruments are designed and produced

proessional artists, as well as the intermediate and beginning stu
