Symptom

You want to insert fields in a table or structure in order to be able to use them in a validation, substitution or rule.

 Although you inserted the desired fields in the table or structure, you cannot use the fields in the validation orsubstitution.

Solution

You must enter the fields in #able GB0! which $ermits fields belonging to the Boolean class. #o do so use view

V"GB0! %transaction code S&'0() the necessary codes will automatically be generated.

NoteYou can only include fields from already $ermitted tables. A table is $ermitted if, for e*am$le, the following entrye*ists in table GB0+B-!-ASS !-ASS#Y/ B!-#AB B!-1/-2 B/3!-42/00 B !B- 5B!-1/-2 has to have the entry 5 and B/3!-42/ has to be blan6.#ables which are not defined in the table GB0 can also be made unavailable for validations or substitutionsusing the view V"GB0!, since the structures and tables are transferred statically when the validation orsubstitution is called u$.You should also ta6e into consideration that fields which have been e*cluded by SA because of an entry intable GB0, cannot be maintained using the view V"GB0! %SA definitions ta6e $recedence over customerdefinitions(.
