EDITORIAL

Oano de 2017 corre rápido e vai nos deixando momentos inesquecíveis e conquistas maravilhosas, cheias do sobrenatural de Deus. Em janeiro, foi a implantação da

torre de oração em Gold Coast, Austrália, onde 14 nações estavam representadas nos pastores e membros da Surfcity Church.

A tocha do fogo do Espírito ardeu nos corações dos australianos, bolivianos (9 nações representadas), hondurenhos (5 nações), japoneses (6 nações), gerando avivamento na vida espiritual e o desejo de ver a Igreja preparada para a vinda de Jesus.

Os gideões mirins preparando seus cursos (CFC) em francês, inglês, espanhol e tendo seus exércitos de crianças intercessoras multiplicados pelo mundo afora. E, agora, nesse mês de outubro, temos o cumprimento de um sonho antigo: a nossa Escola online. Em parceria com o Seminário Vide, começamos com o primeiro Curso: AOB “Aprendendo a Orar com a Bíblia”. Sua proposta é que todo gideão esteja alinhado com a visão do Ministério e possa aprofundar-se no conhecimento das Escrituras a respeito da oração e da comunhão com o Senhor.

Nesta edição, venha conosco na aventura da história do Ministério em sua Retrospectiva dos 15 anos. Temos muito que agradecer a Deus! Temos muitos motivos para adorar ao Senhor e nos preparar para a vinda de Jesus!

T he year 2017 goes fast and leaves unforgettable moments and awesome achievements full of God’s supernatural.

In January, the prayer tower was raised in Gold Coast city, Australia, where 14 nations were represented through the pastors who are members of the Surfcity Church.

The torch of the fi re of the Spirit burned in the heart of Australians, Bolivians (9 represented nations), Hondurans (5 represented nations), Japaneses (6 represented nations) , bringing revival in spiritual life and desire to see the Church ready for the coming of Jesus.

The Gideon Kids ministry have been preparing the trainings (Counselor Training) in French, English and Spanish language. Armies of intercessor kids multiplied around the world.

And now, in October, we have a fulfi llment of an old dream: our Online School. In partnership with Vide Seminar, we have begun the fi rst course: “Learning How to Pray According to the Bible”. The proposal is that every gideon be aligned with the vision of the Ministry and can deepen in the knowledge of the Scriptures regarding prayer and fellowship with the Lord.

Through this edition, come with us on the adventure about the Ministry’s history in its retrospective of its 15th anniversary. We have much to thank God for! We have many motives to worship the Lord and to get ready to Jesus’ coming!

E eu com isso? / What do I have with this?

H oje, pela graça e amor do Pai, vejo-me como um colaborador na propagação do Reino de um Deus em missão na terra. Missões seria, então, o meu e o seu esforço para que a missão do Senhor se

cumpra.Como cristãos, recebemos a ordem de Jesus para pregar o Evangelho e

fazer tantas outras coisas que isso envolve. Aos poucos, e de uma maneira linda, Deus nos conta o que Ele tem para nós. O que pode ser um facilitador é o fato de percebermos coisas que gostamos de fazer e que podemos usar em prol do cumprimento da Grande Comissão. Não se trata de planejar coisas ‘para nós’, mas ‘através de nós’, no sentido de: “O que posso fazer hoje em termos de Missões? Certo, gosto de escrever, de estudar outras culturas e idiomas, sinto-me bem quando prego a Palavra, sou um bom administrador, danço bem, canto bem, comunico-me facilmente com as pessoas, então, o que posso fazer nesse exato momento para que alguém seja alcançado?”

De alguma forma, todos os fi lhos de Deus têm a ver com Missões. À nossa ação ou passividade estão relacionados a corrupção no Brasil, a miséria na África, a perseguição à Igreja de Cristo na Coreia do Norte e em tantas outras nações, a frieza espiritual europeia, o caos social, político e religioso no Oriente Médio, os números desafi adores da Janela 10-40, o não-alcance às milhares de ilhas da Oceania etc.

Today, by the grace and love of the Heavenly Father, I see myself as a sponsor for the spreading of the Kingdom of the God who is in mission on earth. Then, mission would be: my effort and yours to make the

Lord’s mission fulfi lled. As Christians, we received from Jesus the command to preach the Gospel

and to make many other things that involve that command. Gradually and in a beautiful way, God tells us what he has for us. Perceiving things we love doing and we can use them for the fulfi llment of the Great Comission might be a facilitator. It is not about planning something for us, but through us, that is: What can I do for Missions today? Alright, If I love writing, studying other cultures and languages, I feel good when I preach the Word; I am a good manager, I dance and sing well; I communicate easily with people, so, what can I do right now in order for someone may be reached?

Somehow, all the children of God have something to do with Missions. Our reaction even passivity, are related to the corruption in Brazil, the misery in Africa, the persecution in North Korea and in other nations where the Christ’s Church are persecuted; spiritual coldness in Europe, the social, political and religious chaos in Middle East; the challenging numbers of unreached people in the 10/40 Window and from thousands of islands of Oceania, etc.

Mais perto que isso, mas não menos importante, estão relacionados também o alcance dos nossos familiares dentro de casa. Nós temos tudo a ver com Missões!

Da mesma maneira que Israel não foi simplesmente ‘escolhida’, mas ‘escolhida para’ ser exemplo às outras nações e alcançá-las, compreendo que conosco ocorre o mesmo. Não fomos chamados simplesmente para receber com orgulho o título de “fi lho ou fi lha de Deus”, entre outros privilégios. Ao contrário, com humildade e outros atributos característicos de Jesus, fomos conhecidos por Deus antes mesmo do nosso nascimento para deixar uma marca no mundo, e isso necessariamente relaciona-se a Missões.

Indo, enviando ou orando, somos parte de um plano eterno e perfeito do Pai, e quando falamos sobre isso, acredito ser interessante falar em termos práticos. É colocar a mão no bolso e atender ao pedido de alguém na porta da igreja:

“Ajude as Missões indígenas! Compre esse chocolate e envie um missionário”, ou “Colabore para irmos à Angola no meio do ano!”. É manter contato com um amigo missionário constantemente para que ele não se sinta tão sozinho. Quando enviamos, estamos indo também! Mas que possamos dizer: “Eu quero enviar a mim mesmo e não apenas os outros!. Eu quero ser pés que conquistam territórios, mãos que trazem transformação e boca que anuncia as boas-novas de salvação!”.

As diferenças agradam a Deus no sentido de que os dons e talentos que Ele mesmo nos dá se somam para que Sua vontade boa, agradável e perfeita se cumpra em nós e através de nós até que Jesus volte. Assim, todas as profi ssões são relevantes, e creio serem também quando usadas em benefício do Reino. Um Curso Superior, por exemplo, pode abrir portas para que você entre em uma nação que a princípio fecharia a porta para você.

C loser to that, but important as well, it is related to reach our relatives and families in our homes. We are all in mission!

In the same way, Israel was not “just chosen”, but was “chosen to be” an example to other nations and reach them. I understand it is the same about us. We were not called just to receive joyfully the title “child of God” and other privileges. On the contrary, humbly and with other qualities like Jesus’, we were known and chosen by God before our birth to leave a mark on the world and it is all about Missions.

Going, commissioning and praying, we are part of an everlasting and perfect plan of the Father, and when we talk about this, I think it is interesting talking in practical leval, that is, putting our hands in the pocket and answer to people’s request at the church’s entrance when they are saying: “Please, help indigenous mission! Buy this chocolate and commission a missionary...” or, “Cooperate with us to go to Angola in the middle of the year!” Mission is also to keep in touch with a missionary friend, constantly so that he may not be feel so alone. When we are commissioning, we are also going! May we say: “I want to send myself as a missionary and not only sending others. I want to be the feet that conquer territories, I want to be the hands that bring transformation and mouth that preach the good news os salvation!”

The differences of the talents and gifts that God

gave us please Him, for they add up, so that His good, pleasant and perfect will be done in us and through us until Jesus comes. Therefore, all professions are relevant, even more when they are used for the benefi ts of the Kingdom, I believe it. For instance, na university degree can open doors so that you to enter a nation that maybe would close the door before you if you do not have this graduation.

O n the trip to Japan, we had a 12-hour connection in Mexico City. In a supernatural way, God blessed us with the encounter with the Pastor Vinicius Zanin, of the same denomination of

Pastor Sarah Mizuki, Church of the Power and Gloria. The headquarters of this church is in Bauru, São Paulo whose Pastor is João Zanin, Pastor Vinicius’ father the founder of the denomination.

Pastor Vinicius had been a soccer player in Brazil and had also played in teams in Mexico. He married the beautiful Mexican Marthita, also a pastor’s daughter, and could not withstand the full-time pastoral call.

We spent the Sabbath together, knowing a little of the reality of Mexico and had the joy of anointing Vinicius and Marthita as Gideon 24 hours before the Lord at the Mexico airport.

We believe that God has great plans for this country, Mexico, and that Pastor Vinicius and his wife will be greatly used by the Lord to bring the revival torch to other churches, pastors and denominations.

Pray for Mexico, especially now after the earthquake, so that the Mexican church can mobilize and show love for bereaved and homeless families. It is time to show love, time to pray and act.

Na viagem ao Japão, tivemos uma conexão de 12 horas na Cidade do México.

De maneira sobrenatural, Deus nos abençoou com o encontro com o Pastor Vinicius Zanin, da mesma denominação da Pastora Sarah Mizuki, a Igreja do Poder e Glória. A sede desta igreja fi ca em Bauru, São Paulo, sendo o Pastor João Zanin, pai do Pastor Vinicius, o fundador da denominação.

O Pastor Vinicius fora jogador de futebol no Brasil e jogara também em times do México. Ele se casou com a linda mexicana Marthita, fi lha também de pastor, e não pôde resistir ao chamado pastoral em tempo integral.

Passamos o sábado juntos, conhecendo um pouco da realidade do México e tivemos a alegria de ungir o Pastor Vinicius e Marthita como gideões 24 horas diante do Senhor no aeroporto do México.

Cremos que Deus tem grandes planos para este país, o México, e que o Pr Vinicius e sua esposa serão grandemente usados pelo Senhor para levar a tocha do avivamento a outras igrejas, pastores e denominações.

Ore pelo México, principalmente agora, após o terremoto, para que a igreja mexicana possa se mobilizar e mostrar amor para com as famílias enlutadas e os desabrigados. É tempo de mostrar amor, tempo de orar e agir.

The gideons prayer tower in Gold Coast city is growing!Before raising the prayer tower, about 5 or 6 people used

to attend the prayer meetings of the Surfcity Church. Now, young people and pastors meet up 3 hours before starting the evening church service to pray for it. It’s happening a powerful moving of the Holy Spirit.

On a Sunday, in October, Pastor Justin Stephney preached about prayer and explained all the strategy of the prayer tower in order to awaken the brethren who have not yet had their timetable in the tower as a gideon; and also, to lead the church to a higher level of intimacy with God. Leticia Bretas also has told us that the church has been to India in mission and they felt they should return to it to share the tower vision with the churches they support there.

A married couple from Canberra city, Australia, who are leaders of Intercession Ministry in their church, has visited Surfcity Church in Gold Coast and they were amazed for the 24/7 gideons prayer tower. They said they have been working for 20 years with the House of Prayer and they have not yet had continuous 24 hours of prayer. This couple have invited us to go to Canberra city, for there is already a special place for the tower: an old monastery that was reformed to have unceasing prayer.

God is working in the nations, alleluia!

A torre de oração dos gideões em Gold Coast está crescendo! Antes da torre ser implantada, cerca de 5 ou 6 pessoas vinham às reuniões de oração da igreja. Agora os jovens e

pastores encontram-se 3 horas antes do culto vespertino para orar pela igreja. Está havendo um mover poderoso do Espírito Santo.

Num domingo de outubro, o Pastor Justin Stephney pregou sobre a oração e trouxe toda a dinâmica da torre de oração dos gideões para despertar os irmãos que ainda não estavam com horários na torre e para levar a igreja a um nível mais elevado de intimidade com Deus.

Leticia Bretas também nos informou que a igreja foi em missões à Índia, e sentiram de retornar para compartilhar a visão das torres nas igrejas que apoiam lá.

Um casal da cidade de Canberra (Austrália), líderes de intercessão, visitou a Igreja Surfcity em Gold Coast e fi cou impactado com a torre de oração dos Gideões 24h. Eles disseram que estão há 20 anos com a Casa de Oração e não conseguiram até hoje fechar 24 horas contínuas. E nos convidaram para ir a Canberra, pois tem um lugar especial para a torre: um antigo monastério todo reformado para oração sem cessar.

Deus está operando nas nações, aleluia!

O Ministério completou 15 anos de oração ininterrupta. Um tempo maravilhoso em que o Senhor nos mostrou que Ele vai à nossa frente,

prepara o caminho, convoca seu exército, nos dá as sementes, envia a chuva, nos dá o crescimento, concede a beleza das fl ores e faz multiplicar os frutos em seu tempo certo...

A atuação direta do Senhor neste ministério pode ser atestada através de cada igreja gideã, cada pastor cujo coração foi infl amado pelo fogo deste chamado para o fi m, cada gideão que ouviu e compreendeu o momento chave em que vivemos e a tarefa gloriosa que nos foi entregue, cada cidade, estado do Brasil, cada nação dos cinco continentes que foi alcançada por esta mensagem, cada oração direcionada aos alvos propostos pelo Senhor e que subiu aos céus desde as torres 24h.

Louvamos ao Senhor por sua bondade e pelo privilégio de fazer parte de tão nobre tarefa, aleluia! Agradecemos a cada guerreiro da oração e da adoração sem cessar, que se posicionou com perseverança e assumiu seu chamado com alegria e dedicação.

Ao olhar para trás e ver os campos semeados, cultivados e todos produzindo seus frutos, podemos entender melhor que Deus é o Autor, o idealizador desta obra de avivamento nas igrejas espalhadas pelo mundo.

T he Ministry has turned 15 years of continuous prayer. A wonderful season in which the Lord has been showing us He goes before us, He prepares

the way, summons up His army. He gives us the seeds and sends rain. He gives us growth, grants beauty to the fl owers and makes them multiply the fruits in due season…

The Lord’s direct actions in this ministry can be tested through each Gideon church, each pastor whose heart was burned by the fi re of this calling to the end times. Each gideon that has listened and understood the key moment in which we are living and the glorious task that was given us, each city, each Brazilian state, each nation in the fi ve continents that was reached out for this message; each directed prayer to the proposed requests by the Lord and that has ascended to the heavens from the 24/7 prayer towers.

We praise the Lord for His goodness and for the privilege of being part of such a noble task, alleluia! We thank every prayer and worship unceasing warrior that has positioned perseveringly and joyfully in his calling, with dedication.

By looking back and seeing the sown and cultivated fi elds that are bearing their fruits, we can understand better that God is the Author, the Creator of this work of revival in churches scattered around the world.

Cada hora dedicada ali na torre de oração, cada proclamação da glória e dos atributos perfeitos de Deus nas torres de adoração, cada viagem missionária, levando a presença manifesta de Deus e sendo instrumentos em suas mãos, tem um valor eterno e libera o poder de Deus sobre as pessoas, sobre as nações...

Cada Gideão Mirim que foi ungido, separado para fazer a vontade do Senhor e conhece-lo em intimidade, servindo-o com humildade e pronta obediência; cada conselheiro dos Gideões Mirins que tem se disposto a ser um referencial para as crianças e conduzi-las no caminho certo, podem ter a certeza de que nada foi em vão, pelo contrário, tudo fi ca registrado como um memorial na presença do Senhor, e, certamente, a recompensa vem...

Que o Senhor nos encontre vigilantes e cheios de amor por Ele e por sua igreja. Que possamos alegrar o coração do Pai Celestial com nossa fi delidade e amor no cumprimento de nosso chamado. Que todo o povo de Deus possa ser motivado a ouvir a voz do Espírito Santo que ecoa através de nossas vidas, e possa se prostrar, adorar, interceder e crer que o caminho da volta de Jesus está sendo preparado por homens e mulheres anônimos, sem rosto, sem holofotes, sem aplausos aqui na terra, mas bem conhecidos do Pai Celestial e por seus anjos.

I t is impossible to measure what God has been doing through 24 Hours Before the Lord Gideons. It is impossible to catalog how many prayers already

ascended to the throne of the grace of the Lord in these 15 years of service in the secret, alone with God…

Every dedicated hour inside of the prayer tower, every proclamation of God’s glory and His perfect attributes in the worship prayers; every mission trip, we as instruments in His hands, taking the manifested presence of God, that has eternal value and releases the power of God over people and nations.

Every gideon kid that was anointed, separated to do the will of the Lord and get to know Him in intimacy, serving Him with humility and ready obedience; every counselor of the Gideon Kids that has been willing to be an example for the kids and to lead them in the right path. These counselors may be assured that nothing was in vain, on the contrary, everything is recorded as a memorial in the presence of the Lord, and surely, the reward comes.

May the Lord fi nd us ready and full of love for Him and for His Church. May we rejoice the heart of the Heavenly Father with our faithfulness and love in the fulfi llment of our calling. May all God’s people be motivated to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit that echoes through our life. And may they bow down themselves to worship, interceding and believing the way of Jesus’s coming is being prepared by anonymous men and women, faceless, no searchlights, no clapping here on earth, but they are well known by the Heavenly Father and His angels.

D eus trouxe ao Pastor Paulo Cintra, médico, em janeiro de 2003, depois de um ano de jejum e oração, o chamado e a visão deste grande ministério para todo o seu povo, em toda terra.

A visão se espalhou pelo Brasil, conforme o Senhor havia dito ao Pastor Paulo Cintra, a quem revelara toda a estratégia das torres de oração e adoração 24 horas. The ministry’s vision has been spreaded throughtout Brazil and outside it since January 2004, according to what the Lord had told Ps. Paulo Cintra to whom was revealed all the strategy of the 24/7 prayer and worship towers. They were churches from several kinds of denominations have raised the towers and the intercessors were trained through the teachings of the Gideons School which has a wide curriculum of subjects about prayer, worship and a basic Theological and Bible Seminar.

On March 30th 2003, the fi rst 300 gideons of prayer were anointed by Ps. Márcio Valadão. They were 147 women and 153 men, in Lagoinha Baptist Church. The 24 Hours Before the Lord Ministries was being born; women praying during the day and men taking turns during the night and at dawn.

I n January 2003, after fasting and praying during a year, God brought to Ps. Paulo Cintra, Doctor, the call and the vision of this big and great ministry to all His people throughtout the earth.

Sometimes foreigner pastors came to the head offi ce of the Ministry and were anointed as gideons in order to take the revival torch to their nation, sometimes nations invited us to go there and teach about this powerful call of the Lord to the end time.

O Ministério dos Gideões 24h, com suas torres de oração, de adoração, os gideões mirins já estão nos cinco continentes, em 58 países. E o Senhor nos tem falado que Ele estabelecerá torres de oração sem cessar em todas as nações da Terra. As portas vão se abrindo e fervorosas intercessões, com lágrimas e clamor, têm subido aos céus como incenso suave.

Deus tem sido adorado nas torres e o seu povo começa a entrar numa dimensão de entendimento do tempo em que vivemos e o chamado para preparar a Igreja para a volta de Jesus. Nowadays, the 24/7 Gideons Ministry are already in the fi ve continentes in dozens of nations (58 nations until now, October 2017) with its prayer and worship towers, with the gideon kids. The Lord has been telling us He is going to establish unceasing prayer towers in all nations of the earth. The doors are being opened and fervent intercessions, with tears and cry, are ascending to the heavens as sweet incense. God has been worshiped in the towers and His people begin to enter into a dimension of understanding about the time in which we are living and about the call to prepare the Church to Jesus’ return. Pastora Susie Valadão no Congo, África

E, no dia 07/07/2007, os primeiros gideões da adoração foram ungidos e começaram seus turnos na torre da Igreja Batista Getsêmani, em Belo Horizonte. No 5º Congresso Nacional

dos Gideões 24h, em Belo Horizonte, no salão do Aprisco, foi empossada a diretoria e inaugurado o Ministério dos Gideões Mirins, fundado pela Pastora Susie Valadão Vasconcelos.

Os Gideões Jovens começaram a viajar e evangelizar pelas nações por onde passavam com o Pastor Kaiser Vasconcelos. As viagens missionárias com a Pastora Susie trouxeram as logísticas para Missões 24h e o entendimento do 3º pilar, a Pregação da Palavra.

And on 07-07-2007, the fi rst gideons of worship were anointed and began to take turns in the tower of Gethsemane Baptist Church, in Belo Horizonte city. At the 5th National Conference of the Gideons, in Belo Horizonte city, at Aprisco auditorium, the board of the 24 Hours Ministry was established and the Gideon Kids Ministry was founded by Pastor Susie Valadão Vasconcelos. The Youth Gideons started to travel around the nations with Pastor Kaiser Vasconcelos. They evangelized and sowed revival among the young people from diverse nations wherever they passed by; and the mission trips with Pastor Susie brought the strategies to 24/7 Missions and the understanding about the 3th pillar: Preaching of the Word.

E mbarcamos para Tokio com a Pastora Ana Cristina, de mãe japonesa, numa viagem missionária em todos os sentidos. Foram 4 dias de viagem e apenas 3 dias em terra fi rme... Um grande desafi o que valeu a pena!

Ao chegar em Tokio, encontramos nosso precioso missionário no Nepal, o Pastor Luciano Fermino. Ele foi como um “anjo da guarda” no trajeto por terra, tomando conosco 2 trens-bala até Chinagawa e daí até a linda cidade de Nagoya, onde a Pastora Sarah, do Japão, e o Pastor Lázaro, da Igreja da Lagoinha no Nepal, já nos aguardavam de Van, para um trecho de uma hora até Kani-shi.

Chegamos na hora da abertura do Congresso. Encontramos irmãos de várias igrejas japonesas reunidos. Alguns viajaram cerca de 7 horas para estar conosco, como Maria Maeda e sua família. Havia representantes de 6 nações: Brasil, Japão, Nepal, Filipinas, Austrália e Colombia.

I n a true mission trip, in every sense, we left to Tokio with Pastor Ana Cristina, daughter of a Japanese woman. We spent 4 days of fl ight and just 3 days landbased... A big challenge that was worth it!

By getting in Tokio, we met up our precious missionary of Nepal, Pastor Luciano Fermino. He was like a “guardian angel” on the journey by land with us, getting on two bullet trains going to Shinagawa city and after that, going to the beautiful city of Nagoya, where Pastor Sarah Mizuki, from Japan, and Pastor Lazaro Soares, from Lagoinha Church in Nepal, were waiting for us in a van to go to Kani-shi city through a stretch of road, spending one hour until getting there.

We had arrived at just the time of the openning of the Conference. There were brothers and sisters from several Japanese churches gathered. Some spent about 7 hours travelling to be with us, like Maria Maeda and her family. There were representatives from six nations: Brazil, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, Australia and Colombia.

Além do japonês, também houve tradução simultânea para o inglês. Algo interessante foi perceber que

a maioria dos participantes do Congresso falavam português. Havia poucos japoneses que falavam apenas a sua língua e precisaram de intérprete. O fato é que muitos descendentes de japoneses nascidos no Brasil retornaram para a terra de seus pais, e isto em grande número...

Os dias do Congresso foram maravilhosos: o louvor foi dirigido com muita unção. Foi lindo ver o hino dos Gideões cantado em japonês e as crianças vestidas com trajes típicos apresentando-se para cantar em atos proféticos pelo país.

Pastores nativos estavam cheios do Espírito Santo e foram fortalecidos com o chamado de levar seu país ao conhecimento de Cristo através da oração, encorajados a clamar por avivamento para a igreja.

As torres foram implantadas no Japão. A Pastora Sarah Mizuki, nossa coordenadora nacional ali, está consolidando o trabalho feito, e já frutificam as sementes lançadas em terra boa.

Cremos que o Japão não será o mesmo, mas experimentará o avivamento e levantará a bandeira de Cristo em todo o seu território, com as orações de seu povo nas torres sem cessar, aleluia!

I n addition to Japanese language, there was also simultaneous interpretation into English language. Something

interesting to note is that most of the attenders of the Conference spoke Portuguese language. There were few Japaneses that spoke only their own language and needed an interpreter. A matter of fact, many descendants of Japaneses born in Brazil have departed to their parents’ land and it is a large number.

The days of the Conference were awesome, the worship and praise time was led with much anointing. The Gideons anthem was sung in Japanese language and the children clothed with typical garments, presenting to sing prophetically over the nation; native pastors were filled with the Holy Spirit, strengthened to the call of taking their nation to the knowledge of Christ through prayer and they were encouraged to cry out for revival to the church.

The towers were raised in Japan. Pastor Sarah Mizuki, our national coordinator there, is taking care of the work done and the seeds sown on good soil are already bearing fruits.

We believe Japan will not be the same, but will experience revival and will lift the banner of Christ in all its territory through the unceasing prayers of its people prayed in the 24/7 towers, hallelujah!

Honduras

O n September 1st-3rd, 2017, the Gideons Continental Conference – Central America - took place in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, at Mi Viña Church, Apostle

Mário Tomaz and Maria Elena Barahona.Those were precious days and we could see the

intercession power for that nation by listening the Honduran pastors telling us their experiences and life stories and how they have been raising a clamor for their nation.

We had 5 nations taking part of the Conference: Brazil, Argentina, Honduras, Costa Rica and United States of America. The worship teem was used with grace and power. Most of them were young and very excited; the musicians, singers and dancers dressed in the typical Honduran garments and they presented with art and anointing during the Conference.

The course “Learning How to Pray According to the Bible” was taught. We also had the Lord’s Supper in unity.

Nos dias 1 a 3 de setembro, aconteceu o Congresso Continental dos Gideões 24h América Central em Tegucigalpa, Honduras, na Igreja Mi Viña,

Apóstolos Mário Tomaz e Maria Elena Barahona.Foram dias preciosos e vimos o poder da intercessão pela

nação ao ouvir as experiências dos pastores hondurenhos sobre sua experiência de vida e como têm levantado clamor por seu país.

Tivemos 5 nações participando do Congresso: Brasil, Argentina, Honduras, Costa Rica e Estados Unidos. O grupo de louvor atuou com graça e poder. Em sua maioria jovens, e muito animados, os músicos, cantores e dançarinas se vestiram com as roupas típicas de Honduras e ministraram durante o Congresso com arte e unção.

Tivemos a ceia da unidade e ministramos o curso “Aprendendo a Orar com a Bíblia”.

Going up to the El Picacho Park as a prophetic act

The pastors of that church are very active and have churches of the same denomination scattered throughtout several American countries. Pastor Carlos Madrid has received the credential as a coordinator of the 24 Hours Before the Lord Ministries in Honduras and he is willing to take this revival torch to the Latin nations in Central America.

Surely, unceasing prayer in Honduras will bear much fruit to this nation and to the surrounding nations.

Os pastores da igreja são muito ativos e têm igrejas da denominação espalhadas por vários países da América. O Pastor Carlos Madrid recebeu a credencial como coordenador dos Gideões em Honduras e se dispôs a levar esta tocha pelas nações latinas da América Central.

Certamente a oração sem cessar em Honduras irá trazer muitos frutos para o país e as nações ao redor.

P or muitas vezes, a gente ora e canta: “Eu quero mais da Tua presença, Senhor”, mas a grande verdade é que mais do que nós, Deus está desejoso pela nossa presença, pelo tempo em

que vamos parar para estar com Ele. É como se Deus dissesse: “Eu quero mais da tua presença, fi lho, mais de você.” Não temos tido mais da presença do Senhor porque Ele tem tido pouco da nossa presença. Queremos a presença d’Ele, mas não queremos nos dispor a ela, não priorizamos o nosso tempo com Deus.

O Pai quer ter um tempo de qualidade com os seus fi lhos. Quanto mais nos damos ao Senhor e paramos diante d’Ele para buscá-Lo, mais Ele se dá a nós, mais recebemos de Sua paz, alegria e unção. Experimentamos mais do Seu amor, somos infl uenciados e transformados pela Sua presença. Mais O conhecemos e desejamos estar com Ele, sempre.

A presença do Senhor nos atrai e nos cativa de maneira doce, agradável. Sua presença nos enche de vida.

Todos os dias, Deus está à nossa espera, aguardando pelo momento em que vamos dispor de um tempo de intimidade com Ele. Por muitas vezes, nós O deixamos esperando e mesmo assim, Ele continua lá, naquele lugar secreto de oração, de busca... aquele lugar onde nós derramamos o nosso coração, nos expomos à Sua glória e tudo o que queremos é Ele, contemplar a Sua beleza, Sua majestade.

S o often, we pray and sing, “I want more of Your presence, Lord,” but the great truth is that more than us, God is longing for our presence, for the time in which we will stop to be

with Him. It is as if God said, “I want more of your presence, my child, more of you.” We have not been having more of the presence of the Lord because He has been having little of our presence. We want His presence, but we do not want to be ready for it and we do not prioritize our time with God.

The Heavenly Father wants to have quality time with his children. The more we give ourselves to the Lord and we stop before Him to seek His presence, the more He gives himself to us and we receive His peace, joy and anointing; we experience more of His love, we are infl uenced and transformed by Him. We we get to know Him more and we desire to be with Him, always.

The presence of the Lord attracts and captivates us in a sweet and pleasant way. His presence fi lls us with life.

Every day, God is waiting for us and for the moment in which we will have a time of intimacy with Him. Many times, we leave Him waiting, but even though, He is still there, in that secret place of prayer and seeking... that place where we pour out our hearts, exposing ourselves before His glory and all we want is Him; contemplating His beauty, His majesty. On the other hand, when we are willing to have this quality time with God, He does not leave us waiting, He always comes, indeed, He is already there.

P or outro lado, quando, enfi m, nos dispomos a ter esse tempo de qualidade para estar com Deus, Ele não nos deixa esperando, Ele sempre vem, aliás, Ele já está lá.

O Senhor não quer ser procurado só aos fi nais de semana nos cultos da igreja. Ele está falando de um relacionamento de conhecimento diário de quem Ele é, ou seja, daquele lugar onde só vocês dois estão.

Se você quer mais da presença de Deus e dar da sua presença de fi lho a Ele, então você deve separar esse tempo e esse lugar só d’Ele.

Jesus nos fala sobre o quarto, lugar onde somos quem somos e não precisamos de máscaras, lugar de intimidade (Mt 6:6). Separe esse quarto para o Senhor, responda ao desejo d’Ele de querer também a sua presença.

Ao entrar nesse quarto, feche a porta e desfrute das maravilhas da presença do Senhor. Vá além!

Se dê todos os dias à presença do Senhor!

T he Lord does not want to be sought out only on weekends in church services. He is talking about a daily relationship, getting to know who

He is; God says about that place where you two are alone.

If you want more of the presence of God and give of your presence to Him as His child, then you must separate this time and this secret place that is only His.

Jesus tells us about the private room, where we are who we really are and we do not need masks, a place of intimacy (Mt 6: 6).

Separate this private room for the Lord, respond to His desire to want your presence also.

As you enter this room, close the door and enjoy the wonders of the Lord’s presence. Go beyond!

Every day, give yourself to the presence of the Lord!

ÁFRICALugar de grande miséria financeira, violência, medo

e fome. Mas lugar de pessoas sedentas por Deus e sinceras. Das criancinhas até os mais velhos

buscam e louvam a Deus com tanta intensidade que é nítido a presença do Espírito Santo. Povo muito pobre, porém guardam suas melhores roupas para irem cultuar a Deus. Lá é tão empoeirado que as roupas se sujam mesmo sem encostar no chão, mas quando entram na igreja, seus sapatos brilham de tão limpos. Havia um zelo e amor imenso por Deus. Um grande temor. Havia igreja que só tinha uma bíblia, os membros iam lá, liam e voltavam para casa. A bíblia tinha que ficar na igreja para que todos tivessem acesso.

There it is so dusty, clothes get dirty even without touching the floor, but when people enter the church, their shoes shine, for they are too cleaned. There was fear of God, zeal and imense love for Him. There was church that had only a Bible, the members went there, they read it and went back home. The Bible had to be in the church so that everybody could access it.

I have been to Burundi, we also had to cross to DR Congo (complex and dangerous crossing). There were many guerrillas, we entered escorted. We went through Rwanda, but we could not enter because it is a closed country, then we went to Bukavo (Goma city, close to Bukavu, was in war

Quando atravessamos a fronteira, um adolescente nos ofereceu ovos cozidos para comprar e oferecemos barras de cereal e ele disse que não queria as barras, ele queria livros, porque lá não tinha. Ele corria atrás do nosso carro implorando. Estivemos em igrejas que pareciam que iam desmoronar e sem energia elétrica. Porém o povo orava e buscava a Deus como jamais vi.

Fomos em Igrejas consideradas mais ricas e em uma delas tinha um grupo reunido que estavam em oração na igreja a mais de 5 dias direto e em jejum. Apenas tomando água.

Lugar comlexo de ser explicado. Eu teria que escrever um livro para contar qual intenso e maravilhoso foi o tempo que estivemos lá e que o Senhor nos usou para cuidar, levar a palavra e abençoar aquele povo.

Há uma grande diferença daqui para lá, não valorizamos a liberdade que temos aqui, a honra de receber a bíblia e ler sem sermos perseguidos e tantas igrejas em todos os lugares, com ministros falando de Jesus e alertando a todos sobre a palavra. Grande privilégio nós temos.

When we crossed the boundary, a teenager boy offered us boiled eggs to buy and we offered him cereal bars and he said he did not want that, he wanted books because where he lives, there are no books. He runned after our car begging us to give him books. We have been in churches which looked like they were going to fall apart and without eletricity. Even though, people prayed and sought after God as I’ve ever seen before.

We have been in churches considered the richest churches and in one of them, there was a gathered group praying and fasting for more than five days, drinking only water.

A place which is complex to be explained. I would have to write a book to share how intense and awesome the time we spent there was and how the Lord used us to take care of, to take the Word and bless that people.

There is a big difference between here and there. We do not value the freedom we have here, the honor of receiving the Bible and reading it without being persecuted; and many churches everywhere with ministers speaking about Jesus and warning everyone about the Word. What a great privilege we have.

Nos dias 24/10 a 06/11, os nossos missionários, Pr. Adenildo (Índia) e Pr. Lázaro (IBL Nepal), estarão em viagem missionária para a Índia, visitando quatro cidades e implantando as torres de oração 24h.

Já temos funcionando a torre de oração na Igreja Batista em Hyderabad, Pr. David. Nesta viagem, se Deus quiser, serão visitados os pastores Sukumar e Steve Dora (de diferentes denominações em diferentes cidades), em cujas igrejas serão implantadas e consolidadas as torres de oração 24h. E também a cidade de Mumbai receberá a logística das torres e dos Gideões Mirins.

Os desafios são muito grandes, mas vale a pena contribuir e fazer parte desse mover glorioso, ajudando pastores em necessidade, órfãos e o avanço da obra de Deus.

Nossa coordenadora dos Gideões Mirins na República Democrática do Congo, Mauwa Safi Malimbuko, tem feito um belíssimo trabalho com os Gideões Mirins na cidade de Kalemie, além de outras cidades do Congo e de outras nações africanas.

Enviamos uma oferta para Mauwa Safi aplicar para os Watoto Wa Gideoni que estariam gravando um CD e Videoclipe de louvor e adoração, que deverão ser usados para Missões 24h na África.

Mauwa Safi também cuida da Associação Wapandaji que trabalha com os órfãos, as viúvas e as mulheres que sofreram violência. As equipes das viagens missionárias, lideradas pela Pastora Susie, ensinaram às mulheres congolesas artesanato, costura e culinária. Estes ensinos têm sido postos em prática e Deus tem provido o sustento de inúmeras famílias necessitadas. Prossigamos ajudando os necessitados.

Our coordinator of the Gideon Kids in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mauwa Safi Malimbuko has been doing a wonderful job with the Gideon Kids, in Kalemie city, in addition to other cities in DR Congo and other African nations.

We have donated an offering to Mauwa Safi to invest in Watoto Wa Gideoni (Gideon Kids) that are going to record a CD and a worship and praise video clip which will be used to 24/7 Missions in Africa.

Mauwa Safi also takes care of Wapandaji Association which work with orphans, widows and women who suffered any kind of violence. The trip mission teams that were led by Pastor Susie, taught handicrafts, sewing and cooking to the Congolese women. These teachings have been put into practice and God has provided livelihood of countless needy families. Let’s go on helping the needy.

From the 24th October to the 6th November 2017, our missionaries, Pastor Adenildo (in Índia) and Pastor Lazaro (Lagoinha Church in Nepal), will be going to India to visit four cities and to raise the 24/7 prayer towers.

We already have a prayer tower working at the Baptist Church in Hyderabad city, whose pastor is David. On this trip, God willing, our missionaries will visit Pastor Sukumar and Pastor Steve Dora. They are from different denominations and cities, whose churches will be consolidated and have the 24/7 prayer towers. And also, the strategies of the Gideon Kids Ministry will be taught in Mumbai city.

The challenges are big, but it is worth contributing and being part of this glorious move, assisting pastors and orphans in need and cooperating with the advancement of God’s work.

Os pastores que cuidam destas crianças, Pastor Johanna Mucheru (Quênia) e Pastor Paul Wandera (Uganda), ambos se tornaram órfãos em sua infância e sabem o que as crianças sem lar passam na África. In Nakuru city, Kenya, and in Jinja city, Uganda, there are orphanages that are assisted by the 24 Hours Before the Lord Ministry.

The pastors who take care of these children, Johanna Mucheru (Kenya) and Paul Wandera (Uganda), became orphans in their childhood and they know what homeless children are living in Africa. They are very hungry, there is total lack of security and even the rebel guerrillas capture them and put guns in their hands in the midst of cruel wars.

God has given us the privilegie of doing missions by helping orphans, widows, pastors and poor churches in Africa. We pray so that we have conditions to do more for our brethren and for the children who suffer so much.

O líder do grupo terrorista Hezbollah, com sede no Líbano, advertiu neste domingo (1) que todos os judeus que vivem em Israel devem sair do país o mais rápido possível. Ele ameaçou o estado Judeu com uma nova guerra em breve.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah fez um discurso inflamado para marcar o dia sagrado xiita de Ashura, onde criticou o governo do primeiro-ministro Benjamin Netanyahu. Para o terrorista, Israel leva a região para uma guerra devastadora. Dirigindo-se aos “judeus não sionistas”, Nasrallah clamou que “todos os que vieram para ocupar a Palestina saiam e voltem para as terras de onde vieram”. Em um jogo de palavras, disse que o conflito do Hezbollah não é contra o povo judeu, mas contra o governo sionista de Israel.

The leader of the Hezbollah terrorist group, based in Lebanon, warned on Sunday (1) that all Jews living in Israel should leave the country as soon as possible. He threatened the Jewish state with a new war soon.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made a fiery speech to mark the Shi’ite holy day of Ashura, where he criticized the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. For the terrorist, Israel leads the region into a devastating war.

Addressing the ‘non-Zionist Jews,’ Nasrallah claimed that ‘all who came to occupy Palestine leave and return to the lands from which they came.’ In a play of words, he said that the Hezbollah conflict is not against the Jewish people but against the Zionist government of Israel. Nasrallah said earlier this year that the future war against Israel could attract thousands of troops from countries such as Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Pakistan, and could occur within Israel, in reference to the disputed territory of the Golan Heights.

During a pre-Rosh Hashanah conference call with American Jewish leaders on Friday, US President Donald Trump said he hoped there would be “significant progress” on the Middle East peace process by the end of the year.

“I am very hopeful that we will see significant progress before the end of the year. Ambassador David Friedman, Jared, Jason and the rest of my team are working very hard to achieve a peace agreement. I think it’s something that actually could happen,” Trump said, according to a transcript of the call released by the White House.

It is not clear what progress Trump was talking about. Despite several visits by the president’s envoys to the region, they have yet to present concrete plans for the resumption of the long-moribund peace process.

Judeus marcham em Jerusalém exigindo a construção do Terceiro Templo

Milhares de judeus israelenses participaram de uma marcha anual em torno dos muros da Cidade Velha de Jerusalém, com um foco especial no Monte do Templo. Embora seja o local mais sagrado do judaísmo, devido a acordos fi rmados no fi nal da Guerra dos Seis Dias, em 1967, são os muçulmanos que controlam o local e os judeus não podem fazer suas orações ali.

Os confl itos recentes no local reacenderam a disputa sobre quem é o legítimo “dono” do local.

Na marcha, os funcionários do governo presentes destacaram que o povo de Israel está buscando muito mais do que o direito de orar no alto do Monte do Templo, eles querem a construção do Terceiro Templo.

Thousands of Israelis participated in an annual march around the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City, with a special focus on the Temple Mount.

Though it is Judaism’s holiest site, Jews are still not allowed to pray there due to threats of Muslim violence.

Government offi cials participating in the march noted that the people of Israel are seeking much more than just the right to pray atop a Muslim-occupied Temple Mount.They want the Third Temple.

“Everyone who came here tonight proved with his feet that we want the Temple back - and quickly,” Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben Dahan told Arutz 7.

Os confl itos e constantes ameaças de muçulmanos à minoria cristã já fazem parte da rotina no Egito. Contudo, a atitude dos moradores da aldeia de Ezbat Al-Forn, na província de Minya, chamou a atenção. Naquela região, mais de 25 cristãos foram mortos por jihadistas em maio. Na semana passada, após serem impedidos pela polícia local de fazerem culto em uma casa, os coptas ocuparam as ruas. Cantaram louvores, fi zeram orações e ouviram a pregação, sendo observados de perto pelos muçulmanos que tentaram proibi-los de cultuar.

As autoridades muçulmanas alegam que os cristãos não tinham “autorização” para fazer cultos numa casa, que usavam como templo improvisado. Ao chegarem para o do culto, pela manhã, os coptas foram surpreendidos por uma barreira de policiais. Aconselhados a voltarem para suas casas, eles decidiram que fariam o culto ao ar livre. De acordo com o bispo local, Anba Macarius, isso nunca tinha acontecido. “As orações foram realizadas nas ruas em paz e segurança, sem protestos”, ressalta.

C onstant confl icts and threats from Muslims to the Christians minority are already part of the routine in Egypt. However, the atitude of the Copts in the village of Ezbat al-Forn, in Minya city , has drawn attention. In

that region, more than 25 Christians were killed by jihadists in the month of May. Last week, after being stopped from holding worship service at a private home by the local police, the Copts went to the village streets. They sang praises to God, prayed and listened to the preaching, being watched closely by Muslims that tried to prohibit them from worshipping.

The local authorities reported that Christians did not have license to hold religious services at the residencial property that they were using as an improvised temple. When they got to the worship service, in the morning, the Copts were taken aback by a police barrier. Advised to go back to their homes, they decided they would have outdoor worship service. According to the newspaper, the local Bishop, Anba Macarius, this had never happened. “ Prayers were held in the streets in peace and security, with no protest”, he emphasizes.

After USA, Israel withdraws from UNESCOApós EUA, Israel também anuncia saída da Unesco

O governo de Israel também anunciou nesta quinta-feira (12) sua saída da Organização das Nações Unidas para Educação, Ciência e Cultura (UNESCO). A decisão foi anunciada logo após os Estados Unidos terem comunicado que vão se desligar da agência.Representantes dos dois países acusam a entidade de ter uma postura propositalmente anti-israelense.

O primeiro-ministro de Israel Benjamin Netanyahu pediu que Ministério do Exterior preparasse a retirada oficial. Em nota, ele elogiou a postura do governo Trump: “Essa é uma decisão corajosa e moral, porque a Unesco se tornou um teatro do absurdo. Ao invés de preservar a História, distorce”.

O embaixador israelense na Unesco Carmel Shama-Hacohen acredita que a retirada dos Estados Unidos da Unesco é “o início de uma nova era”, e pediu que Netanyahu fizesse a mesma coisa.

On 12th October,Israel government also announced its withdrawal from United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The decision was announced soon after the United States of America had communicated they will withdraw the agency. Representatives from both countries accuse the U.N.’s educational, scientific and cultural organization of having a purposely anti-Israel bias.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, asked the Ministry Foreign Affairs to prepare for Israel’s withdrawal. In a statement, he praised the decision of Trump’s government: “Leaving UNESCO is a brave and moral decision. UNESCO has become a theater of the absurd, instead of preserving history, it distorts it.”.

The Israeli embassador in UNESCO, Carmel Shama-Hacohen, believes that the withdrawal of the United States from UNESCO is “the beginning of a new era”, and he asked Netanyahu to do the same..

O novo levantamento realizado pelo Centro de Pesquisas Pew, sediado em Washington, indica que mais de um em cada cinco países tem uma religião oficial, 43 no total. A maioria, 27, é islâmica. O cristianismo é a religião oficial em 13.

Segundo a pesquisa, 53% dos países não têm religião oficial ou preferida e quatro são francamente hostis à religião (China, Cuba, Coreia do Norte e Vietnã). A maioria das nações que tem o islã como religião oficial estão no Oriente Médio e no Norte da África. Há dois budistas (Butão e Camboja) e um Estado oficialmente judeu (Israel). Nenhum país tem no hinduísmo sua religião oficial.

Segundo as previsões do Pew, o número de muçulmanos será superior ao dos cristãos até 2070, quando cada uma terá cerca de 32 por cento da população mundial.

The new survey carried out by Pew Research Center, head office in Washington DC, shows that more than one-fifths countries has an official religion, a total of 43 . The majority, 27, is Muslim. Christianity is the official religion in 13 countries.

According to the survey, 53% of countries have no official or favorite religion and four are frankly hostile to religion (China, Cuba, North Korea and Vietnam). Most of the nations that have Islam as their official religion are in the Middle East and North Africa. There are two Buddhists (Bhutan and Cambodia) and an officially Jewish State (Israel). No country has Hinduism as its official religion.

According to Pew, the number of Muslims will be higher than that of Christians by 2070, when each one of them will have about 32 percent of the world’s population.
