A quick primer on all the friendly and not-so-friendly faces you willcross paths with on your journeys through Middle-Earth

REFERENCEThrough this list, there are a few terms related to the abilities of characters and some of their

equipment. They are as follows:

High Jump: These characters can jump roughly twice as high as others. Surefooted: These characters can balance on top of tightropes and walk across the top of

snow. Swinging- These characters can swing and jump across hanging poles and arrows.

Small: These characters can slip into small hatches and can also be picked up (and sometimesthrown) by any taller characters. Strong: These characters can pull open orange handles. Tracking: Only Aragorn has this ability. It allows him to pick up glowing green LEGO objects and

follow their trails to reveal goodies. Wizard: Wizards are able to use their staff to lift various characters and colored LEGO blocks to

create stairways. They will also use their magic to assemble bouncing LEGO bricks. Evil: These characters are treated in reverse of the heroes. Bad guys will ignore them while the

usually-harmless residents of Middle-Earth will attack them on sight. Wall-climbing: Only Gollum has this without special equipment. Wall-climbing allows

characters to scale the white LEGO walls throughout Middle-Earth Mithril Hearts: Only Frodo has this without special equipment. It covers each of the character's

health hearts in mithril, effectively doubling their health.

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

First, thanks for reading. As is standard with any guide, there are a few things to keep in mind as youperuse the information within:

As with the stage collectibles, this is all written under the assumption that the story mode iscleared. - - This will give you access to all of Middle Earth and your full range of tools.

The collectibles listed are broken up by Map Stones. When you highlight the stone with yourcursor on the world map, it will show you how many of each collectible is in that location. Youwill also, of course, want to inspect each map stone in person. Doing so not only counts towardan achievement/trophy but it will add markers for every collectible attached to it.

This guide is text-only so there may be certain things listed that are more difficult to find thanothers. - As a general rule, start as far north as you can while running down the numbered lists.Many of the collectibles have more specific locations and requirements and I have done mybest to clarify where I can.

HOBBITONQuests

1. Requires a weapon capable of destroying Morgul bricks to access. Bring the Hobbit mithril rope.He will reward you with the Poo Studs Red Brick. Break the lock on this door with explosives tobring out a Hobbit woman that wants a Golden Carrot. Bringing her one nets you a mithrilbrick.

2. Requires a character or tool that can pull open yellow hooks to access. Bring the HobbitGandalf's Stop Wand and he will give you a mithril brick as a thank you.

3. Shoot the target to open this quest. Bring the Hobbit woman her house key. She will rewardyou with a mithril brick.

Red Bricks1. Poo Studs: 25,000

Characters1. Rosie: 25,000 studs

2. Bilbo Baggins (Old): 125,000 studs3. Tom Bombadil: 200,000 studs

Mithril Bricks1. Smash open the stone with a strong character or weapon in the northwest corner of Hobbiton.2. Plant the LEGO soil west of Bag End.3. Far west of Hobbiton. Use a bow to shoot all 5 targets as they pop up.4. (Available only at night) Use any character or item that can light fires and set off the fireworks

at the festival.5. Bash 10 moles within 30 seconds to make this brick available. 6.This brick is a bit tricky. The

guide studs will lead you to its location but not the way to access it. Head southeast to a housewith wooden platforms and climb on top. Fire an arrow into the wall slot then use a characterwith high jump, surefooted and swinging to climb up and across the high tightropes to themithril brick.

6. Destroy the Morgul brick lock to open the chest.7. Light the fire near the Hobbits with sparklers.8. Hop on the nearby pig's back and run through the LEGO checkpoints.

Blacksmith Design

1.Mithril Paintbrush: Fish it up at the LEGO jetty

BREEQuests

1.This less than stable fellow wants his Mushroom Crown back. He rewards you with a mithril brick

when you return it to him.

1. This quest giver is standing out in the open. This quest serves as an introduction to theblacksmith in Bree and grants you access to the Quest Finder Red Brick for completing.

2. This quest giver will come out when you approach his house. He requires a soup pot. Your

reward for completing this quest is a mithril brick.

4.Pull open the yellow hook to access this quest. The man wants his fancy umbrella back. When you

return it he gives you a mithril brick as a reward.

1. Requires the ability to break silver bricks. The man inside wants a pair of mithril boxing gloves.He will reward you with the Mithril Brick Finder Red Brick.

Red Bricks1. Quest Finder: 50,000 studs.2. Mithril Brick Finder: 75,000 studs.3. Regenerate Hearts: 100,000 studs. There is a glitch that causes this red brick to actually be

rewarded by a Weathertop quest.Characters1. Radagast the Brown: 500,000 studs

Mithril Bricks1. It's best to mark this one with you map. Follow the studs up the small path to the top of the

hill and push the stone into place to create a series of platforms you can jump up then bashthe chest to open it.

2. Far to the west of Bree in a locked cave. On the nearby riverbank is a pile of stones toppedwith cracked tile. Break it with an axe to reveal a LEGO jetty. Fish up the key from the jettyand bring it to the door then break the Morgul bricks inside to to snag the mithril brick.

3. Shoot all 5 targets inside the northern gate of Bree.4. Use an agile character to climb up onto the roof of the Prancing Pony and walk across the

beams and tightropes to reach it.5. You will need to approach this brick from Weathertop. Dig up then assemble the threeskeletons in the graveyard.

6. Climb through the small hatch behind the Prancing Pony and it is right ahead of your.7. Shoot arrows into the sockets outside the Prancing Pony and use an agile character to jump to

it.8. Crank the LEGO fireplace outside the Blacksmith for this to tumble out.

Blacksmith Design1. Mithril Hairbrush: Requires Anduril or any weapon capable of breaking Morgul Bricks. 2.Mithril

Whistle Sword: Requires the ability to break the Morgul brick locking the door.

WEATHERTOPNOTE

To access Mithril bricks 1-4, chatacter 1 and quest 1 you must cross the river by firing an arrow intothe wall slot and using an agile character to hop across the platforms. Flip from the arrow slot then

use a strong character or item to pull open the orange handle to gain access to the dilapidated castle

NOTE

Quest 2 and Mithril Brick 12 can only be accessed by using explosives to break the mithril boulders

blocking the path.

Quests1. This hobbit would like you to bring him a Mithril Stud Hammer. In return he will present you

with the Minikit Chest Finder Red Brick.2. The man would like you to bring him a Mithril Ice Bow. Bring it to him and he will reward you

with the Regenerate Hearts Red Brick. Note that this brick is technically one of Bree's redbricks.

Red Bricks1. Minikit Chest Finder: Reward from Quest 1. 50,000 studs.

Characters

1.Ringwraith (Twilight): 200,000 studs. 2.Ringwraith: 200,000 studs

Mithril Bricks

1. Use an explosive to break the mithril lock on the chest containing the brick. 2.Come into theruins at night and slay 10 ghostly scorpions within 40 seconds to claim this brick. 3.Use a trowelto plant in the LEGO soil and use the plant that grows to bounce up to a vine. Swing to theright and walk along the beam to a chain. Use an agile character to walk across the tightropechain and claim your brick. 4.Climb the vine handrails up to a vine in the entryway to thecastle and swing across to the brick.

2. Throw Gimli at the cracked LEGO tile then use a trowel on the LEGO soil to grow a plant tobounce up to the brick.3. Dig up the LEGO soil around the marshes until you reveal a key. Take it to the northern side of

the marshes and break the boulders to uncover a chest then use the key to open it for themithril brick.

4. Climb up the tree in the marshes then aim your jumps to leap across the two vines to the brick.5. On the eastern side of Weathertop in the same cave as the blacksmith plans is a goat. Hop on

the goat and follow the markers to race from Weathertop to Bree and back again to uncoverthe mithril brick.

6. Head far east into the Trollshaws and into a large cave. Use a trowel to dig up all the dirtpatches in the back of the cave for some studs and the mithril brick. 10.Fish up a crank handlefrom the jetty north of the map stone and use it to crank open the gate and grab the mithrilbrick inside.

7. Use a bucket to put out the fire blocking the alcove and use a light source to illuminate thebrick inside. Either use the mithril bottomless bucket or the water pool near Weathertop hill.

8. The brick is across a small lake. To cross the lake, first use a rope to pull a a lily pad over touse as a platform. Use a bow to shoot the target to flip the second lily pad and bounce acrossto the pillar in the center of the lake. Switch to Gimli and use his jump smash to break thecracked tile to reveal two more lily pads and cross to the other side. Once across, shoot arrowsinto the slots on the statues and use an agile character to flip across to the tightrope. Once youabove the brick, drop down and claim it.

Blacksmith Design1. Mithril Skeleton Sword: Break apart the cave covered in stones on the hill's eastern side.RIVENDELL

NOTE

The area conainting Quest 1 can only be accessed by using a bow to shoot a target to create abouncing lily pad. Jump across and shimmy across the handrails.

NOTE

Character 1 and Mithril Brick 1 can only be accessed by using a bow to fire an arrow into the slot.

Shoot the boulders on the wall next to the slot to reveal a second. Fire an arrow into the second slot

and jumping across with an agile character. Cross the tightrope and balance beams to reveal an

arrow slot back on the wall. Break the boulders and fire an arrow into each slot then return to the

wall and jump up on the arrows to scale the wall. Break the boulders at the top to reveal a small

hatch. Send a small character through and you will find yourself on a balcony with the collectibles.

Quests1. This elf woman would like a pair of Mithril Gloves.2. Inside the house north of the save stone, break the objects scattered about to make room then

shove the small pedestal along the checkered floor to use as a step up. Send a small characterthrough the hatch to reach this elven man who would like to have his Quill back. He willreward you with a mithril brick. In exchange, the will reveal the Studs x2 Red Brick. 3.There isa pile of large blocks to the west of the save statue, using a wizard, place the medium block,the large block next to the medium block and the smallest on top of the largest. Climb up and

use an agile character to jump onto the wall. Follow it around and you will reach the questgiver. He would like to see a luminous stone. He will reward you with a mithril brick.

Red Bricks1. Studs x2: 250,000 studs

Characters1. Elrond (Third Age): 200,000 studs.

2. Bilbo Baggins: 125,000 studs.3. Elrond (Second Age): 200,000 studs.4. Gloin 25,000 studs: Requires an explosive to break the mithril bricks blocking the cave.

Mithril Bricks1. Break the six statues in the room within the time limit to access the brick.2. On the eastern side of Rivendell, use a strong character or item to pull open the orange

handled door. Inside the small area, use a bucket and water to put out the fire on top of theLEGO statue's head to reveal a crank. Us it on the nearby mechanism to uncover a small hatch.Climb through the hatch and use a rope to pull away the boulders, lifting the third large head .Break the chest under the third head for the mithril brick.

3. Climb the ledges west of the minikit room then double back. Shoot the target to create abridge and break open the box through the tunnel.

4. From brick 3, hop down off the balcony and break the Morgul brick lock on the box containingthe mithril brick.5. Throw a dwarf at the cracked LEGO tile high on the pillar to reveal a target. Shoot the target

to create a series to ledges to reach the mithril brick.6. Use a rope and an agile character to climb and swing your way to the top of the building where

the Fellowship was formed and add this mithril brick to your collection.7. Head east out of Rivendell, through the large waterfall into a small clearing. Make your way up

to the top of the area and plant the LEGO soil to grow a plant. Use the bouncy leaves of theplant and handrails to climb up and finally, smash the cracked tile to claim the mithril brick.

8. After grabbing brick 7, make your way back inside the cavern and use a surefooted character oritem to cross the tightrope. Fire an arrow into the wall slot then use a character who can swingto flip across to the hanging vine and mithril brick.

Blacksmith Design

1. Mithril Spring Boots: There is a pile of large blocks to the west of the save statue, using awizard, place the medium block, the large block next to the medium block and the smallest ontop of the largest. Climb up and use an agile character to jump onto the wall. Follow it aroundand drop behind the large LEGO towers just before the quest giver for quest 3

THE PASS OF CARADHRASQuests1. Just before you enter Caradhras there is a gate with an orange handle. Use a strong character

or item to pull the door open and gain access to some ruins. The dwarf inside needs his BeardComb retrieved. Your reward is a mithril brick.

2. At the peak of The Pass of Caradhras on the world map, use a strong character or item to pullthe orange handle. The man inside requests a Magma Rock. When you bring it to him, he handsover a mithril brick for your troubles.

3. Jump across to the large island just before the Pass of Caradhras by using a rope to flip over alily pad then shooting an arrow at the next to flip it as well. Bounce across to the island andmake your way down the slope on the south side. Break open the cell with some explosives toreceive a quest. The dwarf inside wants a mithril music horn. In exchange, he will uncover theBoss Disguises Red Brick.

4. Use a fishing rod at the jetty down the hill on the shores to fish up a crank. Bring it back up thehill and use it on the machine to access this quest. The woman(!?) inside wants her sun hatback. She will reward you with a mithril brick.

Red Bricks

1. Boss Disguises: 100,000 studs

Characters1. Moria Orc: 25,000 studs

Mithril Bricks1. Near the entrance to the pass is a door with an orange handle. Use a strong character or item

to rip it open and gain access to some ruins. Head to the back and use a bow to shoot arrows

into the three slots on the wall then have an agile character leap across to the brick.2. Near the entrance to the pass is a door with an orange handle. Use a strong character or item

to rip it open and gain access to some ruins. Use a rope on the nearby yellow hook and climbup to the tightrope to grab this brick.

3. Head to the Rivendell side of the Pass of Caradhras and head toward the island in the river.Use a rope to pull the yellow hook sticking out of the water to reveal a lily pad. Follow up byshooting the target then bounce across the lily pads to the smaller island. Crack it open with adwarf to snag the brick inside the stone.

4. Head down to the lake just outside of the pass and break the Morgul bricks to release themithril brick into your possession.

5. Hop across the lake from brick 3 and make your way around the larger island. Destroy theMorgul brick blocking the tomb and use a light source to reveal a mithril brick.

6.

At the border between the end of Caradhras Pass and the beginning of Moria, destroy themithril portcullis with explosives.

7. Activate one of the ship wheels on the shores of the river and destroy three waves of toy boats.8. Move past the gates to Moria and use an agile character to climb up the blocks and across the

tightrope. Head down to the end of the aqueduct and break apart the Morgul bricks to unveilthe mithril brick.

LOTHLORIENQuests1. In the northern part of the city, pull open the orange handle with a strong item or character

and speak with the elf inside the room. The elf wants you to recover the Golen Axe.2. The elf at the top of the tower would like you to forge him a Mithril Shockwave Axe. He will

uncover the Fall Rescue Red Brick in return.3. Head west out the city of Lothlorien and toward the small lake. tucked away is a pile of rocks.

Use a rope on the yellow hook to yank the rocks away and reveal a dwarf. He would like you tobring him a Mithril Carrot Bow. In exchange, he will reveal the Attract Studs Red Brick

Red Bricks1. Fall Rescue: 75,000 studs.2. Attract Studs: 100,000 studs.

Characters1. Lothlorien Elf: 25,000 studs.2. Celeborn: 200,000 studs.3. Galadriel: 200,000 studs.4. Haldir: 200,000 studs

Mithril Bricks1. In the hills north of Lothlorien. Use explosives to break the mithril brick lock on the chest then

bash it open to grab the brick. 2.South of brick 1, use a trowel to plant in the LEGO soil nearbyto grow a plant that will allow you to reach the tightrope. Cross it to the wooden platformsthen carefully jump across to the brick.

2. Destroy the 5 plants around the ghostly brick within the time limit to make it physical andcapable of being snatched up.

3. Climb the wall west of Lothlorien to reach a small hatch. Send a small character through anduse an axe to break the cracked tile on the other side to grab the brick.

6. Use a light source in the small cave just outside Lothlorien to reveal and add this brick to yourcollection.

7. West of Lothlorien is a lake, jump across the sinking tiles to the wood platforms then fire anarrow into the wall socket. Use a character or item with swinging to hop across then jump up

further. Use a surefooted character or item to cross the tightrope and on the other side, usearrows and swinging again to cross to a small ledge. Inside the chest on the ledge is the mithrilbrick.

Blacksmith Design1. Mithril Skeleton Bow: In the northern part of the city, pull open the orange handle with a

strong character or item and break open the chest in the back of the room

AMON HENQuests1. Ring the bell near the door in Amon Hen and the quest giver will answer. He would like his son's

toy snake returned. For your kindness, he will hand over a mithril brick.2. There is an Uruk-Hai hiding out in a cave along the shores of the lake near Amon Hen. Bring

him a mithril fishing rod and he will reward you with the Studs x4 Red Brick.

3. Climb the tower in the center of the lake to reach this dwarf. He misses his Feathered Hat. Hewill give you a mithril brick when you return it and would like you to bring it back to him.

Mithril Bricks1. Far north, near the level banner for Amon Hen is a climbable wall. Climb on up and send a

small character through the hatch at the top to reach Argonath. Climb the walls up to the topof the statue and swat the large crossbow to create a tightrope to the other statue and themithril brick. 2.(Only available at night)This brick is tucked away in a small box in the campsiteof the orc that wants a Mithril Camoflage Tome on the Emyn Muil side of the lake.

2. This brick is suspended in the middle of the lake. From the Amon Hen level banner, fire arrowsat the targets to flip the lily pads over then bounce across to the brick.3. Near the Amon Hen level banner, fire an arrow at the target above the large cave to raise the

portcullis. Bust open the chest to snag the brick inside.4. In the ruins of Amon Hen, whack 10 moles within the time limit to grab the mithril brick.5. Destroy the 7 bouncing statues at the top of the ruin within the time limit to grab the mithril

brick.6. Break open the mithril bricks with explosives then use an axe to smash to cracked tile and

claim the brick inside.7. Use a fishing Rod to pull up a crank from the LEGO jetty near the canoe on the beach east of

the map stone. Take the crank to the nearby cave and use it to gain entrance to an areaunderneath Amon Hen. To claim the brick you will have to push the short statues in the caveonto the square green tiles. First, use an axe to jump smash the cracked tile in the center of

the puzzle to get everything flattened out. Use explosives to clear the mithril boulders and firean arrow at the target near the entrance and the statues will be freed up to move. Push theminto place to claim the mithril brick. (NOTE: The ghost studs will not correctly lead you here!)

Blacksmith Design1. Mithril Camoflage Tome: (Only available at night) Approach Amon Hen from Emyn Muil and

walk along the balance beams to reach and orc camp site. If it is night, the orc will be out bythe fire. Slay him to retrieve the design.

5. Slay 20 orcs in the camps just beyond the black gates to make the ghostly brick solid andcollect it.

6. Break apart the large pile of mithril boulders south of the orc camps to uncover a mithril brick.7. Climb up and jump across the moving stone platforms east of Barad-Dur to snag the mithril

brick at the top.8. Use explosives to clear away the mithril bars in the wall west of Barad-Dur to reveal a cave.

Head into the cave and douse the fire then climb up to the mithril brick.9. Break the Morgul brick lock to drop the wooden platforms down then leap across the poles. Atthe end, smash the Morgul bricks to claim a mithril brick.

10.Break the Morgul bricks just south of brick 10 to grab another mithril brick.11.In the wall west of Barad-Dur is a door with an orange handle. Rip it open and head into the

cave then up the balance beams to a high ledge then pull on the yellow hook with a rope tocreate a bridge to the mithril brick.

12.On the way to brick 12, use a rope to pull the yellow hook to your left and reveal anothermithril brick.

13.Break apart the rocks near the scaffolding south of Barad-Dur to reveal a crank handle. Attachit to the nearby machine and crank it to create a path up. High jump up the scaffolding andwalk across the tightrope to the mithril brick.

Blacksmith Design1. Mithril Fireworks: Scale the eastern gate of Barad-Dur with an agile character and walk across

the balance beam to grab the design.

EDORASQuests1. The Uruk-Hai in Fangorn Forest wants his chef's hat back. Return it to him for a mithril brick.2. Use a rope to gain access to the man standing on the walls around Edoras. He requests a set of

bandages. Bring them to him for a mithril brick.3. Put out the fire blocking the door to the house and the man trapped inside will come out. He

would like you to bring him a Mithril Cluster Bow. When you bring one to him he reveals theDisguises Red Brick.

4. Plant in all the LEGO soil patches outside the quest giver's house and he will step outside to askfor an Ent Draught. For your efforts he will give you a Mithril Brick. 5.The woman would like a

replacement Mithril Top Hat for her Husband. As a reward, she will uncover the Studs x6 RedBrick

3. Far to the east of Edoras, swat 7 moles within the time limit to grab a mithril brick.4. Use an axe to bust open the cracked tile and claim the mithril brick inside.

5. Burn away the timber blocking the mithril brick in the small alcove.6. Fire an arrow into the slot above the building in the center of Edoras and swing up to the

mithril brick. 7.Illuminate the dark alcove outside Edoras to grab the mithril brick.7. At night, Defeat 15 Soldiers of the dead within the time limit to make the ghostly brick

available.

HELM'S DEEPQuests1. To the right of the gates of Helm's Deep is an Uruk-Hai who has lost his Uruk Sword. Return it

against your better judgment in exchange for a Mithril Brick.2. To the east of Helm's Deep is a dwarf that wants a Mithril Shield. As a reward, he will uncover

the studs x8 Red Brick 3.Head up the ramp into Helm's Deep on the world map to find a manwho wants his Mithril Horseshoes returned. When you bring them back he will give you a mithrilbrick.

this mithril brick.2. Destroy the 7 statues around the top of the keep within the time limit. The easiest way to do

this is to position a character with a bow on the ledge right next to the ghostly brick and allseven statues will be in easy range to carefully pick off. It takes three shots with a normal bowto destroy a statue.

3. Destroy the mithril gate blocking the brick with explosives.4. Inside the keep, use a strong character or item to pull open the orange handled door and pushthe platform over. Send a small character through the hatch and they will grab the brick on theother side.

5. Use a rope on the yellow hook near the berserker to begin scaling the tower. Next, scale theclimbable wall and use a bow and swinging character to reach the top of the tower. Light thefire once you're there and claim the mithril brick.

6. Climb up on the wooden shooting platforms behind the keep and shoot at the targets on thewall to make the mithril brick appear on the other end of the platforms.

ISENGARDQuests1. Make your way around behind Isengard and break the boulders blocking the cave to find an orc

who wants a Handprint Breastplate. Bring it to him for a mithril brick.2. There is an Uruk-Hai stations south of Isengard that would love a pair of Mithril Music Boots. Inreturn he will reveal the Fast Build Red Brick

1. Break away the stones that block the small cave north of Isengard and use a light source toilluminate the inside so you can grab the mithril brick. 2.Turn the five cranks in the courtyardto flow water into Isengard and reveal the mithril brick. Two cranks sit free and clear to turn.A third is on fire and requires a bucket of water to put it out. The fourth is missing a handlewhich can be dug up from some nearby LEGO soil and the final crank is up on a platform. Use arope on the yellow hook to reach it.

2. From the base of the tower, fire an arrow into the wall slot and swing up to a set of handrails.Shimmy up and over to find a rope. Climb up the rope and walk around the balance beam todiscover a small hatch. Send a character through to reach a higher point of the tower. Fromthere, send a character with wall climbing up the wall to the right to grab another rope. Fromthe rope, shimmy around the handrails to find a set of swinging poles. Swing across to anothersmall hatch. Go through it to find yourself positioned beneath both the mithril brick andSaruman.

3. Before simply jumping off the tower after grabbing brick 4 and Saruman, drop down to thehatch you arrived at. Carefully drop down and hug the wall to the right and you should grabthis brick as you fall.

4. At night, Defeat 10 Uruk-Hai in the courtyard within the time limit to claim the mithril brick.5. Hop on the horse outside of Helm's Deep and ride it north through the checkpoints. Finish the

race and add a mithril brick to your bags.

6. Fish up a crank handle from the jetty near the waterfall south of Isengard then bring it back tothe hill near the tower. Attach it to the machine and crank the gate open to grab the mithrilbrick inside.

Blacksmith Design

1.Mithril Ice Sword Make your way back behind Isendgard and climb up into the hills to find this plan

inside a stone chest.

MINAS TIRITHQuests1. This man is standing right at the top of the city and would like you to bring him a statue hat.

Your reward is a mithril brick.

2. Ring the bell outside the city and speak to the dwarf. He would love to have some SurefootedGreaves. When you bring them to him, he will give you a mithril brick as a reward.

2. At night, there is an orc camp to the north-east of the city. Hop on their Warg and slay thethree orcs to claim the mithril brick. 4.Climb the tower at the top of the city, Assassin's Creedstyle past the Citadel Guard and light the beacons of Gondor to claim the minikit.

3. Attack the LEGO white tree of Gondor and the mithril brick will appear right on top of it.4. Climb the walls above the entrance to Dunharrow with a bow and a character or item with

swinging to snag this brick.5. Swat 10 moles within the time limit to earn the mithril brick.6. At the far south end of the river in some small ruins, use a rope to pull off a yellow hook,

revealing a crank. Take the crank south and use it to open up a cave then use a light source to

illuminate the key inside. Take the key to the stone structure to the south and use it to reveala target. Shoot the target and a path to the mithril brick appears.

MINAS MORGULQuests1. An elf in the ruins of Osgiliath would like his Elven Lute returned to him. When you return it he

will give you a mithril brick.2. The man wants you to bring back his friend's Glowing Shield and will give you a Mithril Brick

when you bring it back.3. Cross the water to the right of the bridge to Cirith Ungol and speak to the orc. He misses his

Artist's Hat and will reward you with a mithril brick if you return it to him.4. The quest giver would like you to craft him a Mithril Fire Bow. In exchange he will unveil the

Character Studs Red BrickRed Bricks

1.Character Studs: 25,000

Characters1. Gondor Ranger: 25,000 studs.2. The Witch-King: 500,000 studsMithril Bricks1. Halfway through the pass between The Dead Marshes and Minas Morgul is a plant leaf that you

can bounce off of. Use it to reach the nearby ledge and break open the stone box for themithril brick.

2. Destroy the five bouncing statues in the north-most ruins of Osgiliath to grab the mithril brick.3. Fish up a key from the LEGO jetty on the eastern bank of Osgiliath then head to the western

ruins. Put out the LEGO fire in the ruins then plant in the soil to grow a tall flower. Bounce upthe petals and fire arrows into the wall slots then swing across to a ledge containing a chest.

Open the chest with the key and the mithril brick is yours.4. and leap across to the small balance beam. From there, hop onto the handrails behind the

tower to grab the mithril brick hanging out there.5. Use magic to stack the three LEGO bricks and use high jump to leap up to the wall then walk

across the balance beam to the brick.6. Jump onto the balance beam to the left of the gates to Minas Morgul and walk around the

corner to some stone platforms. Use a rope on the yellow hook then shimmy across thehandrails to the left. Around the next corner, swing across the arrow poles on the wall to reachthe brick and the platform where the Witch-King waits.

7. At night only, slay ten orcs in the camp south of Minas Morgul within the time limit to earn thebrick. -8.Use an axe to break through the cracked tile on the wall south of Minas Morgul to freethe mithril brick.

CIRITH UNGOLQuests

1.This man, way out in the middle of nowhere would like a Mithril Squeak Sword. If you bring him

one, he will uncover the Studs x 10 Red brick.

2. This quest is easiest to reach from the Minas Morgul Map Stone. This dwarf would like you to

bring him a Mithril TInderbox. Bring it to him and he will uncover the Invincibility Red Brick.

3. Just outside of Shelob's Lair is an Uruk-Hai that wants a Mithril Whistle Sword. Bring it to him and

he will uncover the Action Assist Red Brick.

4.Inside Mount Doom is a man who would love an Ice Lolly. Bring it to him for a Mithril Brick.

5. Use the arrow slots and an agile character to scale the wall south of the map stone to reach an elfwho would like you to fetch him his Shimmering Armor. He will reward you with a mithril brick.

Red Bricks

1.Invincibility: 500,000 studs. 2.Studs x10: 10,000,000 studs. 3.Action Assist: 25,000 studs.

Characters1. Gil-Galad: 125,000 studs. To reach Gil-Galad, you must first head to the north-eastern area of

Mordor. You will see an odd, wooden platform with a mithril boulder on top of it. Plant in theLEGO soil next to it and use the bouncing leaf to reach the top. Use explosives to blow awaythe boulder and a LEGO jetty will be revealed. Fish out a crank handle and head to thesouthernmost point of Mordor to find a crank machine outside a cave. Attach the handle and

crank it open to gain access to the king of the elves.Mithril Bricks1. Hop on the sheep near Mount Doom and take an extended tour of Mordor by racing through all

the checkpoints to earn the mithril brick.2. Climb the wall beneath the bridge near the map stone to claim the mithril brick stashed there.3. This is best and most easily completed by switching to Legolas and equiping him with the

mithril climbing boots and a rope. From the entrance to Mount Doom, move to the left andcarefully scale your way around to the peak and a mithril brick.

4. From the Minas Morgul map stone, head through Shelob's lair. After dropping out of the tunnelthere is a mithril brick covering a patch of LEGO soil. Use explosives to blow up the boulderand dig up a key. Take the key to a chest tuckes away against a wall south of Barad-dur andopen it for the mithril brick.

5. Squash 6 moles around the brick within the time limit to turn the brick solid and collect it.

6. Time your jumps to avoid the flames and jump up the stone tower east of Mount Doom to claima mithril brick.

7. On the far, far, far east area of Mordor is a single Morgul brick. Break it open to reveal amithril chest. Bust open the chest with explosives to find an even smaller chest with an orangehandle. Use a strong character or item to pull open the handle and finally claim the mithrilbrick.

8. In the farthest east reaches of Mordor at night only, orcs will swarm you. Slay 35 within thetime limit to earn the mithril brick.

Between the minikits, treasures and blacksmith designs, it's easy

to get overwhelmed trying to find them all. This guide hopes to

give you a helping hand for those tricky ones.

Before you beginIn order for this guide to be as helpful as it can be, please keep in mind a few quick things:

It is assumed you are playing through on Freeplay. Even thought a few minikits and treasures

can be discovered through the story mode of the game, most of them cannot be obtained without

some very specialized tools.

Many levels contain special, hidden areas. Where relevant, I have called out how to access the

secret area near the beginning of the stage.

Since the e-guide format is text-only, I have tried to be as specific as possible in the descriptions.

If there is something that is still too vague or you just can't seem to track down, please don't

hesitate to ask!

Stage-by-Stage Collectibles WalkthroughPrologueSecret Area In the first area after defeating Sauron, use a tall character to throw a dwarf at the

cracked LEGO tile. This will reaveal a huge, secret cavern.Minikits

1. Dig up this minikit from the LEGO soil in the upper left corner of the battlefield as the stage

begins.

2. At the beginning of the stage, shoot the three targets in the background.

3. Destroy 5 Sauron statues throughout the level. They are on Morgul brick stacks, so use a

weapon capable of destroying Morgul bricks (1. In the hidden cave, 2. past the second lava river

and the two holes in the wall the spit fire, 3. just past the third lava river and up the ramp near

where you must use high jumping to proceed, 4&5. On either side of the doors leading to the

heart of Mount Doom)

4. In the back of the secret area, have both characters climb up onto the ledge using ropes on the

yellow hook. Use a tall character to throw a dwarf across the gap, destroying the LEGO boulders.

Switch to Gollum or equip an item that allows you to climb walls and scale the wall to the highest

platform. Finally, pull out a weapon that allows you to destroy Morgul bricks and smash the block,

spilling lava into the pool of water and revealing the minikit.

5. After the second lava river, throw a dwarf at the cracked tile high on the wall and assemble the

bricks that fall from it to block one of the fire spitting holes. Shoot the target above the other hole

to block it as well and the wall will blow, spitting out the pieces of the minikit for you to assemble.

6. Just past minikit 4 in the lava below the handholds there is a small LEGO platform. Get close and

use a rope to yank the platform out so you can reach the minikit.

7. Use a light source to illuminate the cave the orcs charge from near the Morgul brick that you must

destroy to create a platform.

8. After using a character or item with jumping to climb the platform and shove the LEGO block off,

use a weapon that can destroy Morgul bricks to smash the ones on the platform and reveal the

minikit.

9. Use explosives to clear the mithril bricks near the gates to the Heart of Mount Doom to reveal a

hatch. Send a small character through it to a ledge containing the minikit.

10. Shoot the target above the gate directly behind you after entering the heart and it will drop to theground.

Treasures -1.Elven Sword: Destroy the pile of Mithril LEGO bricks in the battle against Sauron. -

2.Magma Armor: Dig it up in the first area after you defeat Sauron -3.Shimmering Armor: In the

hidden cave, use a strong character or item to pull the orange handle to the right.

Blacksmith Design Mithril Shockwave Axe: In the secret area in plain sight.

THE BLACK RIDERSecret Area

Immediately to the left when you begin the stage is an orange handle. Use a strong character or item

to pull it open and reveal a large cave.

Minikits

1. In the secret area, follow the trail of studs to the back center and jump up to grab a rope and pull

a platform down. Use a high jumping character or item to hop up the ledge to the right and across

to the minikit.

2. In the secret cave, use a bow to shoot the target on the roots above, dropping boulders down to

cover the Mole hole. Move to the far right and start a LEGO fire to drop a pillar down onto another

hole. Now move up to the ledge containing minikit 1 and use an axe to smash the cracked tile,

plugging up the last hole. Once the holes are all covered, use a light in the dark cave near where

you dropped to illuminate it and corner the mole who will then spawn the minikit in the center of

the room.

3. After throwing the LEGO at the boulder, behind some trees. You will see it when the camera

follows the boulder down the hill. Sneak behind the tree to grab it.

4. This minikit is buried under some mithril stones after the third time you scare the Rider off. Use

some explosives to free it.

5. During the fight with Saruman, target the door with a lock on it when you throw Saruman and a

bird will fly in with the minikit.

6. Shoot the five bird nests in the trees along the path after the fight with Saruman.

7.After growing the flower to cross the log, drop down and turn around to smash the cracked tile withan axe, revealing the minikit

1. After clearing the spiderweb with the beehive, climb the wall in the tree to snag this minikit.

2. After scaring off the Rider with the bees, dig up the minikit to the right in front of the fallen log.

10.On the right side of the road as you are running from the Riders in the last stretch.

Treasures

1. Ferryman's Cap: Just before crossing the first river, move down toward the camera and destroy

the Morgul bricks. Assemble the LEGO pieces and a nearby mole will drop the treasure.

2. Soup Pot: Just after crossing the first river, destroy the bushes to reveal a well-hidden cave. Use

a light to illuminate the treasure inside.

3. Mushroom Crown: After burning the bridge to scare off the Rider, move up the creek to the

waterfall and use a rope on the hook to pull down a glowing green LEGO tool. Use Aragorn's

Ranger skills to track the objects down and reveal the treasure.

Blacksmith Design Mithril Music Horn: After burning the bridge, move up the creek to the waterfall and use a rope

on the rocks to the left to pull them away and reveal the plans

WEATHERTOPMinikits1. Use a light source at the beginning of the stage to light the dark cave on the left and claim the

minikit.

2. Use a rope on the yellow hook right outside the cave with minikit 1 to pull down another.

3. Fire an arrow into the socket near the tree and swing from it into the minikit.

4. Break apart the three flowers as you climb Weathertop.

5. After growing the large flower to bounce up higher when climbing Weathertop, leap back to the

right and climb across the handrails to grab this minikit.

6. After burning the first set of dried vines use a strong character or item to pull open the orange

handle and grab the minikit.

7. Before climbing to the top of Weathertop, break the cracked LEGO tile with an axe to gain access

to the minikit.

8. On the top of Weathertop while fighting the Nazgul, use a strong character or item to pull off the

orange handle on the chest to reveal the minikit

9. During the fight with the Nazgul, shoot the three targets high on the walls to collect the minikit

10. Use an explosive item to break apart the mithril LEGO object during the fight on Weathertop thenuse the hidden Frodo to assemble the ghostly bricks. Swap back to another character and crank

the handle to pop the inflatable Nazgul and add the minikit to your collection.

Treasures

1. Rubber Duck: Fire an arrow at the target near the LEGO jetty to cause the duck to float up.

2. Quil: Before climbing to the top of Weathertop, break the cracked LEGO tile and then smash the

Morgul bricks to reveal a glowing green item. Use Aragorn's ranger skills to track this treasure

down.

3. Sun Hat: During the Nazgul encounter use an axe to smash the cracked tiles and snag this

stylish hat.

Blacksmith Design Mithril Music Boots: Use a light source to illuminate the black cave right behind you after the

first checkpoint

THE PASS OF CARADHRASMinikits -1. Destroy 5 skeletons wearing helmets (1. Immediately to the left after beginning the

stage, 2.Inside the cave after causing the first avalanche, 3. In the campsite after the second

avalanche, behind the tent, 4. to the far right after leaving the campsite via tightrope, 5. Sitting in the

small cave after the large avalanche when you send Gimli down the hatch) -2. Raise 4 LEGO flags

throughout the snowy pass (1. Right after causing the first avalanche, 2. To the left of the large

contraption with the target, 3. halfway past the large avalanche as you run up the pass, 4. Afterskeleton 5, dig up some bouncing LEGO bricks and build a bridge. The final flag is on the ledge on

the other side of the bridge) -3.Use an axe to smash the pile of cracked Tiles after crossing the

tightrope from the campsite then build the pieces into a snowman. Shoot the target on the snowman

to break it and reveal the minikit. -4.Use explosives to clear the pile of mithril boulders on your left as

you run from the huge avalanche. -5. After escaping the large avalanche, use a rope to climb the

high ledge and then use a strong item or character to pull open the orange handle. -6. In the small

cave with the cracked tile after the large avalanche, use explosives to clear the mithril brick

barricade and use a light source to illuminate the cave behind it. -7. Outside the Mines of Moria are

three bottles floating in the water. Pick up rocks and throw them at all three. -8. Destroy the Morgul

bricks to the left of your starting location outside the Mines of Moria then hop on the horse inside and

follow the trail of studs to the minikit. -9. Halfway up the wall on the left side of the entrance to the

mines is a dark cave that requires a light source to enter. Inside, destroy the pile of bones then use

an axe to break a hole in the ice. Use a fishing rod to pull out a fish then Bring out Gollum to climb

the wall in the back of the room and light the fire. Once the troll is thawed out, give him the fish and

he will spit up the minikit. -10. Use a rope to climb up onto the ledge during the fight with the octopus

and smash the LEGO objects up there to reveal the minikit.

Treasures -1. Bill's Riding Crop: Destroy the Morgul bricks near your starting location outside the

Mines of Moria -2.Luminous Stone: Use explosives to destroy the mithril boulder to the right of the

Mines of Moria then used Aragorn's Ranger Tracking to follow the trails and dig up the treasure. -3.

Ice Lolly: Dig this up out of the LEGO soil south from the troll in the ice cave.

Blacksmith Design Mithril Cluster Bow - On the ledge just south of the 4th flag

THE MINES OF MORIASecret Area After descending the stairs and before moving across Khazad Dun there is a stack of

mithril boulders. Break them with explosives to gain access to a rather creepy cave.Minikits -1. Immediately to the right of where you start the level is a chest with an orange handle.

Use a strong character or item to rip it open for the first minikit. -2. Use a strong item or character to

pull 3 dwarven statues out from the walls (1. To the left when you begin the level, 2 & 3 are on either

side of the room while barricading it from the orcs) -3. After fighting the orcs in the hallway, use

explosives to destroy the mithril bricks and use a rope on the yellow hook in the small area to pull

the minikit up. -4. In the same area as minikit 3, break apart the carts to the left to free some LEGO

bricks and finish the wall. Use a character or item with climbing to scale the wall and grab the minikit.

-5. Break apart the three Morgul brick stacks after fighting off the orcs. (1. to the right of the mithril

blocks, 2. past the mithril blocks and behind the orange handle, 3. to the left of the mithril blocks as

you continue forward) -6. In the secret area, step on the panel in front of the organ and it will begin to

play. Jump on the panel again when the glowing lights pass into the green box on each section and

the bridge to the right will lower. Play the correct series of notes two more times and the bridge will

drop all the way and the minikit will be yours. -7. In the secret area, shoot the targets on either side

of the organ twice and the minikit will be dropped from a cage above. -8. After throwing a dwarf to

the other side of the bridge and down the hatch during the collapse of the bridge, this minikit is

hidden directly behind the pillar. -9. After the fight with the Balrog, use a light in the cave to the right

hand side of your starting area and the minikit is yours. -10. Just before exiting the mines after the

Balrog fight, shoot the two targets high on the wall to the right to drop the pieces of the minikit down.

Assemble them to claim it.

Treasures -1. House Key: After fighting off the orcs behind Gandalf's shield, ignore his warning to

run from the Balrog and make your way to the back of the area. Use explosives to destroy the mithril

bricks blocking your path then pull the orange handle with a strong character or item to retrieve the

treasure. -2. Moria Orc's Helmet: As soon as you reach the Bridge of Khazad Dun, shoot an arrow atthe target up on the wall to drop the skeleton wearing it to the ground. -3. Artist's Hat: After fighting

the Balrog, use a high jumping character or item to jump up and grab the handrail on the wooden

crane and it will pull up the treasure. Use character 2 to grab it.

Blacksmith Design Mythril Headdress: After rescuing Pippin from the well it is just off to the right in a

small alcove

AMON HENMinikits

-1. Destroy the six Statues throughout the ruins holding swords( 1. As Frodo, shoot an arrow at the

target after pushing the pillar down on Boromir, 2. To the left of where Frodo builds the ghostly

catapult, 3. To the right of the final small hatch before following Boromir into the ruins, 4.To the left of

where the rest of the party starts the stage , 5. Sitting in the open just past the first cracked wall, 6.inthe area where Aragorn and co. find Sting after Frodo's path is cleared.)

-2. After throwing the rock at the giant stone hand, break the rest of the hand apart to find this minikit

hiding behind it.

-3. After firing the catapult, hit the target high up in the forest to send the boulder tumbling back

down the hill. Repair the catapult and launch the boulder again to break it open and reveal the

minikit (This also has the nifty benefit of removing Boromir from the rest of Frodo's path through the

level)

-4. Destroy four Morgul brick stacks throughout the level (1. Behind the ghost pirate, 2. The far right

side of the campsite, 3. After jumping to the top platform with an agile character, just after the first

cracked wall, 4. to the right of the area you find Sting)

-5. After pushing the large pillar down to the ground from the high ledge and building the smaller one

to continue, push the pillars to the left and use a character or item with Jumping to reach the minikit

tucked away in a small alcove.-6.Use a rope to pull down one of the statues to the right side of the camp then have a wizard rebuilt

-8. Use a trowel on the LEGO soil in the third stage of the Uruk-Hai fight to grow a plant up to a

ledge containing the minikit.

-9.In the third area while fighting the Uruk-Hai, move to the right and toward the camera to find a

path away from the battle blocked by a mithril gate. Use explosives to open it and head into a large

cave. Inside, use a rope to create a path up the ledge then jump up further with high jumping. Climb

up the ledges and set fire to the vines blocking the small hatch before sending a small character

through. Climb up on the platform and use the mushroom to spring up to the minikit.

-10.Shoot 6 targets during the fight with Lurtz (1. Use a rope on the yellow hook to the right of thefirst stage of the fight to pop the first target up, 2 and 3 are directly behind Lurtz in plain sight, 4. On

a cardboard cutout deer to the left of the arena near the camera, 5. Up high to the left of the hatch,

partially obscured by trees, 6. On a cardboard rabbit cutout to the right of the arena near the camera.

Treasures -1.Arrow Helmet: To the left of the campsite is a door with an orange handle. Pull it open

with a strong item or character and a ghostly pirate will block your way. Dig up a fish to his right and

put it in a frying pan. Next, use a rope to climb the yellow hook to the tomato plant near the

campsite. Whack the plant and add the tomato to your pan. Last, dig up an egg on the far right side

of the campsite to complete your meal. Cook it at the camp fire and the ghost will run to the meal,

releasing the treasure from the chest. -2. Uruk Sword: Destroy the mithril bricks under the Uruk

archer in the second area during the Uruk-Hai fight. -3.Stop Wand: Near the end of Frodo's path,

after Boromir is run off the final time, use a rope to climb the yellow hook on the overhang. At thetop, use a jumping smash with an axe to knock loose some stones and the treasure.

Blacksmith Design -Mithril Rope: The statue on Lurtz' platform is holding this one. Just knock it

down when you climb up to attack Lurtz during the first fight with him.

TAMING GOLLUMMinikits -1. During Gandalf's area at the beginning of the stage, assemble the colored staircase

exactly as the picture on the wall shows you and the minikit will appear at the top. -2. After putting

together the colored LEGO brick staircase, destroy the mithril boulders and use a small character to

slip through the hatch they were covering and snag the minikit. -3. Halfway up the tower, smash the

obscured Morgul bricks to the left and exit onto a snowy platform. Use a trowel on the LEGO soil to

grow a plant and bounce up to the minikit. -4. Break apart the four large lizard skeletons in the

campsite (1. Right where Frodo and Sam begin the stage, 2. To the right of Frodo and Sam'sstarting location near the first LEGO hook, 3. The rightmmost part of the campsite near some Morgul

bricks, 4. At the end of the circle around the campsite near the sixth fish) -5. Destroy the Morgul

bricks to the far right of the lower level behind the third lizard skeleton then use a light to illuminate

the cave and grab the minikit. -6. Pull open the second LEGO hook in the campsite with a rope to

uncover this minikit. -7. In the third section of the campsite, throw a dwarf at the cracked LEGO tile

to reveal the minikit -8. Shoot the targets in both of the purple plants you grow in the campsite area. -

9. During the battle with Gollum, destroy the fish buckets scattered around the area to free the

pieces of the minikit then slap them together to claim it -10. During the fight with Gollum, head to the

cave beneath Gollum and destroy the mithril boulders with explosives. In the hidden cave, use a

character that can climb walls up onto them while a second character stays back and uses the red

and green levers to adjust the walls. Claim the crank handle on the left then smash the boxes on the

far right side, being careful not to get hit by the arrow machines. assemble the crank mechanism

below and grab your minikit.Treasure -1. Snowman Hood: Carefully make your way down to the left of the tower during

Gandalf's section and use a strong character or item to pull the orange handle. Destroy the

snowman inside and pick up the treasure it drops -2.Rock Hat: On the second section of the

campsite while collecting fish, use an axe to smash the cracked LEGO tile in the foreground. -3.

Fishing Rod: Assembled automatically as part of the battle against Gollum in Story Mode

Blacksmith Design -Mithril Carrot Bow: Fire arrows into the slots outside the tower during Gandalf's

section. Use high jumping and swinging to flip across and use a light souce in the cave to reveal the

plans.

THE DEAD MARSHESMinikits -1. Smash 5 cracked tiles throughout the level (1. Behind and to the right of where you start

the level, 2. Behind and to the left of the LEGO water on the second patch of dry land, 3. Next to the

third pool of LEGO water, 4. To the left of the fourth pool of LEGO water, 5. Just after pulling down

the tree branch after putting out the fourth fire.)-2. Move back and to the left when the stage begins and smash the cracked tile to reveal some

bouncing LEGO bricks. Put them together to build a LEGO jetty and pull up a fish from it. Follow the

arrow to the left and place the fish on the sign to make the minikit appear. -3. After putting out the

second fire, move onto the next patch of dry land and head to the bottom of the land. There is a very

small platform that you can jump to. When you step on it, another small piece lifts to the surface.

Follow the appearing trail and use a rope at the end to pull the minikit back to dry land. -4.After

putting out the fourth fire, move to the left and pull the orange handle with a strong item or character

to release the crocodile to its young, where a box without hinges, key or a lid will open and show you

the golden treasure within (It's a minikit). -5. Destroy the Morgul bricks near the large, water-filled

tree to reveal a skeleton and his boat. Do some backtracking and collect the bones to create askeleton steering wheel and bring it to him. His exit will cause the distant minikit to wash up on

shore. -6. While sneaking from the Nazgul after hiding the fifth time, shoot the tree in the background

to bring it down and reveal the minikit. -7. At the other end of the stretch of land past minikit 6, move

to the background and shoot the paper on the tree far in the background. Some ghosts will pop up

out of the water nearby. Shoot all 3 of their targets to claim the minikit as yours. -8. Near the end of

the stage, after sneaking for the second time, break the bushes near the LEGO jetty to reveal an

orange handle. Use a strong item or character to pull it open and smash your way past the bushes

inside to nab the minikit. -9. Shoot the 5 targets that pop up from behind logs along the left and right

edges of the battle with the Oliphaunts. -10. Move toward the screen on the left side of the battle

with the Oliphaunts to find some LEGO soil. The minikit is buried underneath it.
