Helmut FiscHer

Dr Helmut Fischer is now Professor and Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the Marienhospital, in Stuttgart Germany. His main areas of interest are nasal reconstruction and rhinoplasty along with reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the eyelids, periorbita,

ears, lips,face, forehead and brows. Dr Fischer is the instigator and convenor of the first international Stuttgart nasal reconstruction congress to be held next year in conjunction with the legendary Stuttgart rhinoplasty course, of which he is also now the convenor. Apart from being a master rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgeon, Wolfgang Gubisch described Helmut in regards to his expertise in nasal and facial reconstruction he is to Europe what Burget and Menick are to the USA.

Konstantin KuraKin

Dr. Konstantin Kurakin actualmente es profesor dell departamento de la cirugía plástica y maxilofacial del MSUMD en Moscú (Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry) donde ejerce de profesor. Su actividad docente la compagina con la actividad médica

en los campos de cirugía ortognática, plástica, dental e implantología.Dr. Konstantin Kurakin is currently a member of the department of maxillofacial surgery and plastic surgery at MSUMD (Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry) where he is a professor. He combines his teaching activity with medical activity in the fields of orthognathic surgery, plastic surgery, dental surgery and implantology.

silvio Podda

Dr. Silvio Podda, current Chief of Division of Plastic Surgery and current Director of the Residency Program in Plastic Surgery, is a native of Sardinia (Italy). He received his medical degree at the “Universita’ Degli Studi di Cagliari”. After years of extensive training that included Pediatrics, Genetics and Gene

Therapy, General Surgery and PediatricSurgery he graduated in 2005 from the Institute of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery at NYU, under the direction of Dr. Joseph G. McCarthy. He then completed a Craniofacial Fellowship with Dr. S. A. Wolfe in Miami. He has been the plastic surgeon in charge of the renowned Regional Craniofacial Team at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center since 2007 and the Surgical Director of the “Palestroni Birth Defect Center”. Dr. Podda’s main surgical interests are related to congenital pediatric plastic pathologies (cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis etc.) and facial aesthetic surgeries (rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty etc.). Dr. Podda is extremely involved in numerous projects of volunteer surgical work over the entire world.Dr Podda speaks English, Italian and Spanish fluently.

Jamil aHmad

Dr. Jamil Ahmad is the Director of Research and Education at The Plastic Surgery Clinic. His practice is primarily in aesthetic surgery.Dr. Ahmad is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is the Director of

the University of Toronto- Resident Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. He has privileges at the University Health Network, Women’s College Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. In 2016, he was given the Chair’s Award by Dr. Chris Forrest for his contributions to the Division.He is co-editor of Dallas Rhinoplasty: Nasal Surgery by the Masters, 3rd Edition. This medical textbook is considered the definitive treatise on rhinoplasty. Most recently, he co-edited Secondary Rhinoplasty by the Global Masters, the only multi-specialty, multi-author textbook dedicated to revision rhinoplasty.

I studied medicine in Maastricht and specialized in plastic surgery in Utrecht. For doctoral research I went to New York and for three fellowships in three years to Toronto (reconstructive and cosmetic facial surgery).This versatility is also reflected in my work:

in the St. Antonuis hospital I work as a plastic surgeon, operating adults with craniofacial abnormalities caused by surgery, an accident or a malignant disease. And in the Velthuis clinic I work as an aesthetic plastic surgeon, and I specialize in facial surgery, especially rhinoplasty and facelifts.These different areas give me a good balance; I work with both children and adults and I perform both medically and aesthetically necessary corrections.

Hospital. He is also certified by the board of Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Chiu specialized in sinonasal, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has given numerous presentations at national and international meetings on rhinoplasty ( U.S.A, Russia, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Iran, korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippine, Vietnam, Indonesia ……etc.). is widely recognized as one of Taiwan’s leading rhinoplasty surgeons.
