GOALS

• to promote, through immersion, a mutual understanding of the social and professional culture of the petroleum production environment in both countries;

• to provide professional contacts in the area, through activities such as classes, seminars, technical visits, field work, technical events;

• to develop the technical knowledge inherent to the project area, adding petroleum topics to the standard curriculum; including the learning of the host language;

• to offer the opportunity for personal growth, through the challenges of living in a different culture, interacting with diverse people - professors, students, general public; also enriching the individual assets with the practical training of a foreign language.

METAS

• promover, através da imersão, um mútuo entendimento da cultura social e profissional do ambiente de produção de petróleo em ambos países;

• propiciar contatos com profissionais da área, através de atividades presenciais, participando de aulas, palestras, visitas técnicas, trabalho de campo, eventos técnicos;

• desenvolver conhecimento técnico específico à área do projeto, incorporando ao currículo regular os tópicos da especialização em petróleo; incluindo o ensino da língua anfitriã;

• oferecer oportunidade de crescimento pessoal, através dos desafios de uma experiência de vida em uma cultura diferente, interagindo com diversos integrantes - professores, estudantes, população em geral; também enriquecendo a formação individual com o aprendizado instrumental de uma língua estrangeira.
