Equao da Quantidade de Movimento para Regime Permanente
Neste captulo admite-se ainda a hiptese de regime permanente para simplificar o raciocnio. O tratamento do regime variado, como j foi dito, ser feito no Captulo 10. O objetivo deste captulo mostrar como calcular a fora resultante que um fluido aplica em superfcies com as quais est em contato. Essa resultante deve-se ao efeito normal, criado pelas presses, e ao tangencial, provocado pelas tenses de cisalhamento. Pelo equacionamento utilizado, possvel verificar que a integral das foras normais e tangenciais reduz-se a uma soluo bastante simplificada. Na soluo dos problemas despreza-se o efeito do peso do fluido, que poderia ser obtido pelo produto do volume pelo seu peso especfico. Esse clculo poderia causar embaraos, no caso de volumes de figuras complexas; entretanto, ser sempre um problema geomtrico, que no tem nenhuma relao com os objetivos do captulo. Exerccio 5.1
