The farmer, the boy and the donkey are going to town.

The man looks at them and shakes his

head.

O homem olha para eles e balanca a cabeca.

The farmer puts his son on the donkey’s back.

O agricultor coloca seu filho em cima do burro.

The man speaks to his son.

O homem fala para seu filho.

The boy gets down. And the farmer sits on the back of a donkey.

O garoto desce. E o agricultor senta em cima do burro.

Then he puts the boy on the back with him on the donkey.

O homem coloca o garoto no burro junto com ele.

One of the people says, “ Aren’t you ashamed? ”

Uma pessoa diz, “ Voce nao tem vergonha? ”

The farmer and his son quickly get off the donkey.

O agricultor e seu filho desceram do burro.

The donkey jumps off the bridge into the river and swins away, never to return.

O burro pulou na ponte no rio a nadou para longe, e nunca retornou.
